Farmstay vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

We (family with 2 children , 6 & 3 years old) felt very comfortable on the Fidelito Ranch. The kids enjoyed playing in the garden, feeding and showering the dogs, as well as the great horseback ride with Leon. We greatly appreciated the quiet location, but were also able to get to the larger cities quickly.

What a cute little cabin in a remote area! Andi & Angi are amazing hosts! They are so helpful and kind, taking great care to make sure we are enjoying our stay. Breakfast was amazing - homemade bread, butter, jams, local fruits and fresh eggs from their self-sustaining finca. For those who enjoy the simple pleasures in life and the quietness of remote Costa Rica, this is the place for you!

The views along are worth it, and super friendly horses on the property is something our kids absolutely loved!

staying at Green Soul was a gift! the house was immaculate and very comfortable with our baby. the property was gorgeous. we highly recommend a night walk with Manu and going for a swim in the very refreshing pool. we spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and watching the abundant wildlife around us. highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

This cabin was so cute and perfect for my groups needs! We loved how big the bathroom was and are grateful for the fans to help keep cool at night.

it was a wonderful part of our Costa Rican trip to stop here for 2 days. the cottage is as described, rustic, one with nature and surrounded by a beautiful setting and animals! Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the tour Alexander gave our family, which allowed us to learn more about a way of life that is respectful of nature and the resources we share.

Had a wonderful stay! House was beautiful and well-decorated, loved the outdoor showers in each bathroom. Kitchen was well-stocked. Even the housekeeper, who came twice during our stay, was wonderful and even brought us home-cooked food one evening. Leticia was very helpful with providing local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed.

Jean and Nelson run a wonderful place. Nelson runs the grounds and is super responsive and onsite for any needs. The location is amazing with beautiful views, hummingbirds feeding on the hedges, and the house is modern and comfortable. Everything you want to do is close by such as the cloud forest, restaurants, tours, etc. but the place is super private. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful, as seen in the photos, it is a quiet area, the attention from the hosts was excellent, we always got a quick response to our questions, everything very clean, the instructions for access very clear, everything worked perfectly, I recommend it 100%, we had a great time!

Very nice home in Playa Grande. Kitchen very well equipped. Owner and management team really reactive and helpful. Nice cooking class held directly in the house.

Absolutely loved our stay at Alas House. Beautiful property, stunning views and beautiful gardens filled with butterflies and hummingbirds. Sat reading in the hammock watching the wildlife at work... amazing. Property was well cared for and had everything we needed. Had 2 scorpions join us in the house....not deadly so easily escorted out. Turin restaurant is a 10 min walk and wonderful gardens and reasonable food / drinks.

I work remote and took my work to the mountains. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month. The mountains are beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. The sunrises and star gazing on this mountain was phenomenal. The fruitful trees that the monkeys have to climb daily was so inspiring to watch how God provides to all species. The sounds of the birds singing in the jungle was a great experience for my morning coffee. And last but not least the amazing staff here! I am blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay for a month! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Staff responded timely and very helpful. Great WiFi connectivity, electricity worked well, plenty of hot water. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or a taxi that provides it. Beaches are nearby and the culture was great to visit and explore. I see why this area specifically is the blue zone. Pura vida lives in this mountain top. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to visit again. Glamping!!

We were a group of 8 people spending a week together for the first time. We had an amazing time and loved ‘our’ house and location. The presence of our housekeeper (Fresia) was undeniably the greatest benefit, and we are very grateful for her attention and responsiveness. Between Jennifer and Fresia, we felt cared for and heard. Both responded with speed and effectiveness and we were so grateful! Loved the area…Playa Grande and Tamarindo did not disappoint!!! Thank you Jennifer!

Simple, quiet, surrounded by nature Perfect

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

House is on a dairy farm, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thank you very much. You do need to buy your food before you go since it is a little remote. There is someone working in the middle of the night next to the house and that might bother you if you are a light sleeper. One of the bathroom does not have hot water at the time and it seems common that kitchen does not have hot water. We are ok since there is another bathroom has warm enough water for shower.

Gorgeous oasis!! This spot was private and beautiful, but a short car ride (10 minutes) to restaraunts/stores/bars and other attractions. You are nestled between mountains engulfed in nature, and wake up to pure peaceful bliss. There are beautiful trails on the property which we walked and enjoyed seeing the horses from the neighboring farm. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and bird watching, and we're lucky enough to see multiple toucans! This spot will stay with us forever, it is so special. Laundry was a huge plus as well after days spent outdoors!

There were 6 of us including 2 children, for a 4-day stay. Everything went well. We particularly liked the pool, the calm of the wooded, flowery and particularly neat park, the animals, the driveway and the walking trail in the forest. Eduardo, the caretaker, was nice and helped us when we needed it. In short, we loved our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was so clean and spacious. The views from the balconies were amazing and I miss them already! The swimming pool was awesome. It was walking distance to two beaches and several restaurants. We especially enjoyed Reparito. Such a wonderful quiet location.
