Hotel vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

Best location; walk to everything in town/beach. Loved the pool area and Destiny cafe was the icing on the cake. Amazingggg food/smoothies/ staff. Would absolutely recommend this spot and stay here again. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating as well.

The place is awesome! It’s got a great vide, love the pool, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The room is super clean, and comfortable. The place has a great laid back vibe. Ryan is an awesome host! He’s a big surfer and has a bunch of surfboards to rent at a great rate. He also has a quad to rent too. He’s super responsive with anything I need. A lot of the people have come back year after year here. And I am definitely coming back next year! I couldn’t recommended enough.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing space, bring beverages and snacks :)

El Manglar is the perfect and best place to stay in Playa Grande. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the location is ideal, and the price is affordable. I love that this is a place owned and run by Ticos. It’s nice to stay at the beach in Costa Rica where the guests aren’t just tourists, but also nacionales. Gracias por todo!

Suzy and Dan are a class act. They were very helpful and engaging. Had a wonderful time at their lovely inn. It’s located very close to the small town Nuevo Arenal and about 45 mins from all the attractions at Arenal. A nice place to stay if one wants to experience the natural surroundings

My family and I stayed at La Palapa in January. The location is right on the beach with a private area for guests and each room has it's own outdoor sitting area. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean and waking up with that view was wonderful. The location is also a short walk to everything in town. The staff was very helpful. There are many beach restaurants around the hotel, all play loud music, which we didn't mind at all, but if you are looking for a quiet area, this is not it. We stayed in 2 different rooms. #6 had 2 large beds, comfortable for 4 people, but the room itself was very small. Room #3 is a larger room but the loft only had a smaller bed, which made it hard for 4 people. The bathrooms could use some remodeling. The breakfast that was included was terrible at the beach restaurant, but the little Italian place was good. I would stay here again.

Excelente lugar, playas muy cerca, supermercados y restaurantes cerca La piscina grandiosa y la host muy atenta!!

Cannot say enough about our stay! Lovely property and hosts! The peaceful location was close to everything, but not smack in the middle so a quick walk to restaurants and the beach, though honestly the pools and onsite restaurant were just as amazing. We will be back!

Great place and service! We reserved the entire place, 8 rooms for me and family from Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica and worked very well. The place is near the beach, in the middle of the forest (some animals visited us), and very nice. A large kitchen, comfortable rooms and nice pool. The personnel is very friendly!! Thank you for everything!!

Flor Y Bambu is absolutely beautiful - as soon as I stepped into this place I was enchanted. The casita's and tents are discreetly dotted around the space each have private hammocks and lounging areas. The planting is so cool and myriad walkways meander down to the green/blue pool area. I was tucked at one corner of the hotel and loved seeing howler monkeys play above me. Like many other reviewers I also loved the outside shower looking up at the stars. Playa grande is stunning and a very natural space. Its not built up, long may this be the case. I went on a night trip to visit some leatherback turtles nesting and this was done respectfully, about 20 mins drive. Playa Conchal and Brasilito are also fun, to get a flavour of local life. Thank you Sophie and Antoine too. Pura vida.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in schöner, ruhiger Umgebung. Wir sind keine Golfer, genossen aber den schönen Strand. Am Haupttor gab es Schwieorgkeiten, weil der QR- Code nicht bei uns ankam. Zum Glück war Teddy vor Ort und hat die Sache in 5min geklärt.

eine wunderbare kleine wohlfühloase. direkt am meer/strand. herrmich dass es mehrere öiegestühle und hängematen zu verfügung standen. In 15min ist man zu fuss im zentrum von samara. die Zimmer sind eher klein und man tür an tür zum nachbar. aber man ist ja nicht da zum den ganzen Tag im Zimmer zu verbringen. einige kleinere updates sind in den zimmer nötig um das ganze zu einer 10von10 zu bewerten.

Beautiful accommodations in an ideal location! This may have been our favorite Airbnb we’ve had! We loved the open-air communal space with lots of room to spread out. The bedrooms with air conditioning were a welcome reprieve at the end of the long hot beach days. We really valued being able to walk to Playa Brasilito and Playa Conchal. Our favorite place to eat was Soda Brasilito! I will note that the third bedroom now has a double bed and not a bunk bed. Not a big deal since our kids just shared the bed but others may want to note the change from the pictures.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjours chez Ronald. La journée l’extérieur était très agréable avec les hamac et tous les aménagements extérieurs. La nuit nous étions très confortables dans le bungalow. Ronald s’est montré très réactif face a nos questions et nous a toujours aidé. Le logement est très proche de la cascade Llano del Cortez donc c’était super ! Par contre le chemin qui nous avons pris pour arriver au logement est assez rocailleux, il faut vraiment y aller doucement avec la voiture…

We absolutely loved our stay! It was a unique place with extremely beautiful views of the mountains. Just be mindful that it is true to “glamping” meaning you will feel a lot of wind at night, which depending on your sleeping patterns can be challenging. Also, the place is a little off the beaten path, but we loved our time and would recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. It was easy to find, has parking, and the location is so close to to the beach. It was really nice using the provided beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We also really enjoyed using the common refrigerator and kitchen. The breakfast every morning was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome villa with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shared pool, surrounded by lush vegetation, was the highlight of our visit. The kids had a great time swimming when it was too hot outside. Since the pool is shared, it’s also a great way to meet people staying in neighboring villas. The villa is very close to Playa Grande beach, perfect for catching waves during the day and enjoying breathtaking sunsets in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, with even more just a short drive away. We initially had some doubts about visiting this area of Playa Grande due to reports of construction, but it was actually quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended for travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo (which is just a short boat ride away) and enjoy a tranquility.

Mi familia y yo quedamos muy satisfechos, la casa amplia, en muy buen estado, muy limpias las sábanas y la casa en general. La ubicación de la casa excelente muy cerca de las playas más bonitas y de los centros comerciales. Súper recomendada, la atención de la dueña muy gentil y flexible.

L’endroit était encore plus beau que sur les photos! Le petit jardin, la piscine, la table de billard, les hamacs, tout était parfait pour relaxer. Le propriétaire était très attentionné et passait plusieurs fois par jour pour vérifier que tout allait bien et pour nous faire apprécier les lieux en nous faisant goûter le fruit du cacao et en nous faisant nourrir les poissons des étangs.
