Mariangela set the tone of how wonderful our experience at her home would be, through all the communications. Her brother and mother stepped in, in-person to make sure we were settled in and, how can you not love her mother’s freshly baked caked? Amazing! Run and reserve your dates at Villa Sud-East. Marilia’s property is outstanding, situated in an incredibly peaceful & beautiful area, albeit one that is a bit remote, in the countryside. It is closer to Cisternino than Ostuni, with Cisternino being quite manageable & less hectic/crowded than Ostuni. The lamia has everything one needs, is provisioned with lovely & ample dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, a dishwasher, towels, etc., with added bonuses such as a heated outdoor jacuzzi, an outdoor grill, security, a/c, plus a washer AND dryer — all beautifully maintained. Marilia & Maria are so friendly & welcoming, always responsive, kind, helpful, & informative. I highly recommend this property, & also commend Marilia & her staff (wonderful Maria & Giusi) for ensuring we had a wonderful experience. I/we hope someday to be able to return.

A beautiful place, with a lovely separate kitchen w/ table that opens out to gardens. A very kind family hosting! There’s a few great restaurants walkable, or the center of town is walkable in 20 minutes, a busy road but with a walking zone. Overall a very nice stay, and Ceglie is a lovely town to explore.

Fantastic stay at Leonardo’s Trullo. The accommodation is lovely, spacious, well-furnished and very comfortable. The location is great for those who like a little peace, but is only a short drive from a local town boasting some great restaurants. The pool is excellent! You could easily relax around there all day. It was a good depth for our 8y/o, with a nice deep end for diving practice. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, the Trullo itself is nestled within trees so offer nicely shaded spaces to escape the sun. Would highly recommend!
