Nice stay and very welcoming. Delicious food, slept well in a nice bed. Good shower too! A slightly more extensive and better wine list would have been nice, but the whiskey tasted delicious. Already had a top weekend!

Very clean and cosy and a very friendly host. The flat has everything you need and the hot tub is super relaxing. We had a very pleasant stay.

The accommodation was fine, with a luxurious look. A lot of cycling through the Drents Friese Wold. The stay is located at the village of Boijl, where there is not much else to do, but the tranquility is great. Enormously enjoyed the nature, but also a trip to the very special Veenhuizen. Nature, silence, and history were a beautiful combination.

The place was great for 1 or 2 people and has everything you need. Lydia was lovely and made me feel right at home! The included bikes were also very helpful.

I stayed with my dog for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The bathtub was my personal highlight but also the delicious dinner convinced me very much. The two are extremely friendly and I felt very comfortable.

This is a really nice place to stay. I was there in January but it must be beautiful during spring/summer/autumn as there is a small garden that you can use. The place was spotless clean. It was really easy to get to and in a very peaceful and quiet area. Although the owners were on holiday they were always very responsive and checking if everything was ok with us. Check in was smooth and checking out was flexible even if on short notice. I would definitely come back when next time in Groningen. We were 3 people staying there - it’s a little bit crowded for 3, but perfect for 2 or 1 persons.

My family and I had a great few days in Groningen and a big part of that was represented by the accommodation and the interaction we had with Annemiek and her husband - two warm, approachable, helpful and considerate people who made sure we had everything we needed and were always ready to answer our questions and give us tips for a good stay, given that this was our first time in Groningen. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet surprisingly close to the vibrant old city center. It has a lovely inner yard, full of flowers and of smart adjustments that my engineer husband appreciated a lot :-). The room, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and well maintained. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time, we appreciated being able to leave our luggage inside for a couple of hours until the room was ready. All in all, a nice experience and the feeling that we made new friends, which is priceless. Thank you, Annemiek and Jan!

We had a wonderful few days! A nice/ nice place to explore the city from there. Warmly furnished spaces and bedroom with new beds ( are top). Despite the toilet being outside the space, that has not hindered us from being able to enjoy this place. Very friendly hosts Miranda and Renée made us feel at home. Recommended!

Was from 6/27-30.06. guest in the house. Everything found as it was described. The house is very quiet and just right for switching off. After the busy days at TTcirquit, it was good to be able to enjoy such a tranquility. I book with the nice hosts again at any time. It is also exactly between Assen and Groningen and can be reached by car in both directions in about 20-25 minutes. Regards Olaf

Marian and Jos were excellent hosts! The location and the room were perfect—just as described. A lovely surprise in the morning was encountering a beautiful peacock and peahen in the garden, adding a charming and unique experience to my stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

this was our second time staying with Hans & Lidy. The apartment is very comfortable, with an extremely well appointed kitchen. Hans & Lidy are very gracious and proactive hosts. whenever we stay in Groningen, it will be with them!

Lidy and her husband were amazing hosts. They were extremely responsive to my inquiries. They made us feel right at home. We were able to use their bikes to get around town and visit the surrounding countryside. The apartment was really nice, clean and spacious with a cute small kitchen. Across from the home is a great fish spot with a yummy menu. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The property is very clean, the house is complete, there are 5 rooms and therefore strict rules to maintain it tidy and enjoyable for everyone, which is nice. The owners are friendly and care about nature and animals. There are chicken, horses, bees, peacocks and a friendly dog outside the house. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this property to others. Too bad i miss out on the flowergardens 🙂 🪻🌷🌾
