Nice place to stay, recommend it!

Maurits really is a super host. Friendly, responsive, helpful; among the very best hosts at airbnbs we've stayed. The kitchen did not have a microwave, and he bought one for us. Would stay with him anytime anywhere. Location was perfect, walk to bus stops, center of town, and both an Albert Heijn and Jumbo. The house was an authentic schipperswonig, but outfitted with an electronic lock system and heating system that was quiet and effective. Note three things to guests: (1) typical Dutch flight of stairs, but good handrail and perfectly navigable (better than most); (2) oven and mirrors at height suitable for > 180 cm tall Dutch person; (3) Groningen is a university town and current next door neighbors are students who had extremely noisy friends every Thursday night (very late); they did respond to our complaint, but needed to be told twice. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

We prolonged the reservation of this house.House is very comfortable and clean. Communication is perfect - Marieke & Jaap are very nice and helpful. We recommend heartily.

Spacious accommodation and full of comforts and a beautiful panoramic view. Friendly hosts who are ready for you and enjoyed the hot tub.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. What a heavenly week we experienced with our family of 4 in this beautiful front house, where decor and atmosphere completely coincide with the tranquility and timelessness of Drenthe. From the 1st moment you step over the threshold here, you will feel 100% at home and welcome. The contact with Miranda and Aldo was most warm, warm, enthusiastic and thoughtful. All spaces were cozy and comfortable, the spacious upper floor turned out to be an ideal retreat for our puberty. Miranda's numerous tips were a hit. Agree, the sunny weather played a favorable role: we walked in a fairytale winter landscape, packed thick, two days later without a jacket in spring temperatures. But we are convinced that you can also have a fantastic holiday here in the weirdest meager weather. It's a place you actually want to put in a box. Never forget and secretly don't share it. What we do now;-)

Erwin was a very accommodating and nice or Helpful host. He personally welcomes every guest and you get a wine and some basic supplies in the fridge. The house was very clean and left nothing to be desired. He always responded to consultations and was always open to support for bars and clubs, for example. Had a great time! The internet is d**n fast and reliable, but the house is already very old and accordingly it is very noisy and the doors needed an extra jolt. But in summary, a great stay. Highly recommended.

We were only there one night - it was all great. The place is very clean, the hostess friendly, always helpful and quick to respond. We were even able to check in earlier which was great. Thanks, happy to come back!

Top spot! Very nice, bright space with everything you need. Niko was friendly and helpful, his tip for lunch was also appreciated. The instructions to get in were clear and the place was quickly hot due to the AC. Next time we will stay here again!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We stayed in Yvonne's house for 2 nights. Everything is there and even more than we expected, such as a luxury coffee machine with coffee and a full kitchen. Nice room, bathroom and good beds. If we weren't so rooted in the west of the country then we would consider Grolloo to start living. What a serene tranquility. It seems here every day Sunday if you compare it to the west of the country. Enjoyed the house, the first spring days of the year in Drenthe, the walks on the Pieterpad and the stay Grolloo near Yvonne. Recommended and place to go back again.

We stayed here for an overnight stay during the Pieterpad. So nice to have a complete house at your disposal after a day hiking. Table for eating, sofa for hanging and a very extensive kitchen for cooking. Nice beds upstairs and a clean and modern bathroom. We were also very warmly welcomed!

Very spacious, especially the living room, friendly hosts, everything you could need was there, option for extra heating if desired was present, walking distance to the center and even closer to the Asserbos, an address to come back to

we got a warm welcome at Ina's place. The house met expectations, complete, good beds, towels etc in abundance, luxury bathroom and a well-stocked fridge, bottle of wine and breakfast items for the first morning. super

Lovely cottage in a farm house. The bed is extremely comfortable, pictures don't do the place justice, the interior is very cozy and charming. Host is very kind and the place feels home. Shops are walking distance, and the house is located opposite the canal, sunsets are beautiful. There is a bus 5 minutes walk from the house. Nice area to relax and unwind - away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The neighbourhood is peaceful and the villagers are friendly.

A warm welcome in a nice and cozy cottage in a beautiful place! We sat outside in the garden overlooking the ponies and geese. Highly recommended to stay here if you want to explore the beautiful Groningen!

The apartment is very nice and as in the pictures. Nick is friendly and the lockbox check-in was very easy. The location is great if you want to explore the city. It's a lot less hot in the bedroom and kitchen than in the living room. Unfortunately, the streaming services that are listed are not logged in, so you must have an account yourself. Furthermore, everything was great, definitely recommended!

Clean, comfortable, with a convenient kitchen. In the center of Groningen, close to entertainment venues.

I advise everyone to stay in this wonderful house if possible

Due to my husband's work, we stayed at Dennis and his family's place for 7 weeks, who live in the large part of the house. The place is very quietly located. For those who love it like we do, it's perfect. You only need a car or bike for weekly shopping as there are no shops in the village. The rooms are small and each has a dresser in it. The bathroom, on the other hand, is very spacious. You absolutely have to ventilate after every shower, otherwise it smells a bit peculiar. The kitchen and living room invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the garden was always very wet due to the weather, which is why we cannot report much about it. Behind the house there is a very nice playground and picnic areas. There are plenty of great walking trails. We made excursions to Groningen, Veemdam, Assen and even Amsterdam. We enjoyed it very much. Dennis and his family were incredibly nice!

We had a lovely stay in Jorine's apartment, it was very cozy, comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is really great with very nice restaurants. There is also a very nice park nearby. Jorine was easy to reach and very helpful and nice. A wonderful place to stay!

Christel and her husband were great hosts, very kind, and responded quickly to messages. The home was lovely, spacious, clean, and cozy. It is located only 10 minutes by car to the city center. The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It is 10 out of 10, best place I’ve stated at in the Groningen. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

Great place! If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway, this place is absolutely gorgeous! We came here for a quick getaway and stay for a birthday, and it was very cozy, and gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay in this clean, lovely apartment and we will happily return! The place also has everything we needed, and super comfortable! Host was extremely responsive, kind and able to help us in multiple languages! Definitely recommend the stay if you are ever in the area. Beautiful place, reasonably priced, and lovely! Thank you!
