This 120sq ft (15'x8'), newly remodeled, nicely appointed studio is an independent structure ideal for 1 guest, cozy for 2. The door of the studio faces our back patio, so you may hear us. The nightly rate includes use of our driveway. Please let us know and we will leave it empty for you. **Starting September 1, 2017 Berkeley is requiring hosts to collect a 14% occupancy tax. Nestled at the top of the Berkeley Hills, just outside Tilden national reserve, with beautiful views of the bay from the neighborhood. There is a bedroom, bathroom, and central room with kitchenette. The space is cozy and fit for a maximum of 2 visitors. The yard fully fenced and private for you and any four legged travelers. Pets do require a separate cleaning fee so we ask you register them as you book.

Located halfway up the steep Berkeley hillside in a quiet residential area. The space has amazing natural light with 4 skylights and garden facing windows. There is a patio deck with table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. Previously an art studio, now a simple detached cottage at the entrance of our property. Berkeley Bitty House - a little bit of home

The Berkeley Bitty House is our cozy little detached guesthouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a few minutes drive to campus and within walking distance to many landmarks. Although itty bitty, it feels luminous and private, with a large skylight and windows that overlook a private deck with hot tub. The view of the bay from the private deck is breathtaking.

The location was truly perfect -- excellent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Walk to UC Berkeley was about 10 to 15 minutes, to Rockbridge BART was about 20 minutes. Emily was a super nice host and helped me with local tips and informations.

Really enjoyed staying at Mally's place! The location was ideal for exploring the nearby sights like the great local cafes. At the same time, it was private enough where you could recharge peacefully. The space was clean and I found the working table super useful for my planning sessions during my stay. The garden gave a calm, peaceful vibe and I loved how the windows opened right outward to them and let in all that fresh air. I'd recommend this as a home base if you're planning to be in the East Bay!

Staying at Joy’s was wonderful. She is an excellent host and a kind human. We got to talk about some common interests and I felt welcomed since the first minute. She is responsive and pays attention to every detail. The room where I stayed was really comfortable and Joy offers full access to the kitchen. Additionally the place has a great location, close to public transportation, market, and some stores. I would recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My family enjoyed their stay and found it was exactly as described. The only downside was that they could hear the folks upstairs when moving around, but this is to be expected given the unit is attached to the house. All in all, a positive experience and Sofia was quick to respond with any requests.
