Together we will write your book. We'll start with a few creative exercises, using storytelling and impulsive writing that will set the stage for your imagination. Then we'll begin the writing process where I share some tips & techniques to bring out your book. Finally, we will work on your individual stories and any road blocks you have with the writing and publishing process.

I’ll teach you how to write, edit, and publish your book. We’ll start by going over the writing process and organizing your book in a simplified way to help make the writing process smoother. Then, I’ll share tips on editing and layouts, followed by a discussion on getting published. If you’re a freelance writer, I can also share resources on how to get started if you’re interested in making writing your career.

On our Saturday Breakfast Tour we will be touring downtown Greenville and visiting some of the best locally owned and operated breakfast venues. You will learn the story of the Dark Corner and how it got it's start and how it has impacted Greenville to this day. Other interesting historical information will be shared along with the Mice on Main story. We might even see some Mice on our tour! During the tour, you will be served three breakfast entrees which include: french crepes with scrambled eggs and bacon; cinnamon bun french toast with fruit compote and sausage; and shrimp and grits...a trust southern delight! Delicious from beginning to end and you will be full at the end of this tour. No need for lunch. At then end of this tour, you will have a more intimate insight into Greenville and it's beautiful downtown. Other things to note The tour is a walking tour with all locations within a very short distance from one another. If there are any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know 48 hours prior to the tour.

I will begin with introductions and then we will begin. We will begin by going over the outline process, as it is crucial to the success of the writing process. Next, we will discuss the meat of the story and how to begin your story with the bare bones. After we have the plot thoroughly down, we will begin our descriptions. The next step, is character development and I will show you as to why this is so important for the success of your book. Lastly, we will discuss dialogue and practice writing dialogue effectively. We will also dabble a bit with the editing process.

We’ll start in the heart of downtown Greenville in Falls Park. Here we will take pictures in front of the waterfall and on the famous suspension bridge that hangs over the falls. After some pictures in the park we will head off to Pickens, SC for our first stop of the day. First we will stop by Coyote Coffee the best coffee shop in the upstate! After a quick stop we will continue on to Glassy mountain for a beautiful overlook view of the true Carolina country side. Here we will take pictures and hang out for a little bit before heading on to Twin Falls. Our second stop is a double waterfall with an awesome little pool that guests can walk into. Here we will spend the majority of our time playing in the falls and exploring the surrounding area. There is a trail guests can take to the top of the falls for some epic pictures I’ll take for them. After enjoying the falls we will end our tour on Bald Rock overlook where we will have lunch. After Bald Rock we will return to downtown Greenville. Other things to note Make sure to wear comfortable clothes for walking and outdoors activities. We will be traveling about 45 minutes out of town so if you have any specific needs for travel please let me know.
