Kay is an excellent host. Responds to all messages in a short period of time. Great communication. This is my second time at The Snug. It truly is a special, cozy Snug. Had everything I needed for a week’s stay. Love the touch of fresh eggs, bread and milk, all locally sourced for my arrival. Peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful Dorset countryside. Valerie and Nick made me feel totally welcome and gave me every assistance, they made me feel comfortable to be there. The property was always warm and simple to clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

What a gem. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Tucked away in a tiny village with a beautiful farm shop next door, Claire added everything you could possibly want for our our stay - making it beyond perfect, including homemade jam & biscuits and a host of other goodies welcoming us on arrival. Her welcome folder included clear instructions for everything as well as guidance on lovely walks around the old rectory. While providing privacy, the place also felt truly like a home and everything seemed new and clean. The extra gorgeous fluffy towels were a treat. Crockery and kitchenware were of the highest standard, making it a pleasure to stay in and cook. Especially as spices & olive oil, et cetera were provided so we didn’t need to go hunting in the shops for such basics. One of the best kept places we ever stayed in for sure. Five star hotel style quality. Would love to find a reason to go back one day….!!! 🤩

Thanks again to Charlie and Nathalie for hosting us in their well-fitted annexe. A lovely quiet spot, tucked out of the way in Milborne Port near Sherborne. This is the second time we’ve stayed whilst visiting family, due to accommodation “overspill”, plus it was nice to get away and have our own space due to having the dog with us 🐶 Great hosts!
