Other than a hiccup with check-in (wrong set of keys in the lock box) which Stacie worked quickly to correct, the stay was great. Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Decent street parking options on the cross street with Main. Downtown is just a quick drive or a long stroll if you're up for it. We'll definitely look for this place for our next trip to Richmond!

Andrew was proactive in getting us the check in information and was responsive when questions were asked. The place was cozy with a very comfortable bed. In a nice area and had a lot of things to do within a short Uber ride.

My husband and I had the best “Staycation” at Matt’s Place… We currently live in VA. Beach and wanted to see what Richmond was about. We were not disappointed especially with this stay at Matt’s place. Check-in was SUPER easy. He even provided us with pictures starting from the front door on the street, up the stairs, down the hall and to the front door which made things super easy to navigate as it is a building with multiple loft apartments. This location was right on the corner of the busy city streets but still provided peace and privacy. Everything was in walking distance from night life to restaurants. The location was just perfect. The loft was beautiful, spacious and clean. It was well equipped with towels, body washes, wine glasses, spices and even those cool copper cups which I’ve always been a fan of! Checkout was very easy and simple with minimal things to do before you leave. We will definitely be booking with Matt again! Thank you for the great experience

Loved staying at Sue’s place! Sue was friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was large with all the amenities and we were able to easily park and walk to nearby parks and restaurants. Will check it out when we’re next in town

We felt at home. The apartment is put together with a personal artistic style. Perfect mixture of traditional and modern. Quiet and relaxing while conveniently central. Very friendly and responsive host. We were sorry that our time here was limited.

I am always hesitant on leaving reviews because selfishly I want to keep the best places a secret! We had such a great time! The house is perfect and comfortable both inside and outside. Our dogs loved the yard, especially if the gate is closed to the driveway and they can just be everywhere! We ate at Rosa’s in Chester twice and the food and service is amazing! We had a perfect weekend and appreciate all this Airbnb has to offer.

Nice place to stay. You’ll need to drive to where you want to go from there though.

The location is perfect for exploring Carytown and Richmond, and the place is comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Parking was usually easy to find on the street and the parking spot with the place was convenient when we couldn’t get street parking. A great stay!

We had a group in town for the Richmond marathon and staying here was a great option for our group! Everyone had their own bed, plenty of space, and it was convenient to downtown. The house was beautiful and clean and Frank was very responsive and helpful.

Alyssa is one of the most accommodating hosts we have met in all our Airbnb stays in terms of her communication before and during our stay, and in the manner in which she meets her guests’ needs in the artfully arranged and comfortable space she provides. We loved being in this historic building and exploring the surrounding area. There is no lack of great places to eat within easy walking distance.

This was such a great home base for us for a long weekend in Richmond! It was such a thoughtfully decorated house that really felt like home. Our dog loved it too, really appreciated the fenced in yard! Close to so many things, the location can’t be beat! The house was clean and had everything we needed! It was only us and our dog, but would also be great for 2 couples. 10/10 and will definitely book again when we are back in Richmond!

Reagan's place was absolutely perfect for my weekend in Richmond! She was beyond responsive, helpful & accommodating. The location of the condo were perfect for getting around town on foot or by car, several prime restaurants, entertainment & bars are steps away. This place is also extremely convenient to the Dominion Energy Center where I was performing for the weekend. The condo is also connected to the hotel so you get the benefits a private and comfortable condo stay with a perk of some of the hotel amenities. I didn't take full advantage as I was busy, but a quick visit to the hotel lobby for a coffee & a cocktail proved this. I would 100% recommend a stay here and can't wait to book for a future stay! Airbnb hosts could take some pointers from Reagan's hospitality!

JT and Katherine were great hosts, easy communication and really above and beyond! The neighborhood is great, tons of great local restaraunts and super walkable to Maymont, museums and more!

Excellent location in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy street parking and short driving distance to downtown Richmond with lots of great restaurant selections. Also walkable to few great places to check out (like the Franklin Inn bar and restaurant). It is a basement apartment so it can be loud when there are residents upstairs both walking around and hearing voices. Maybe some rugs could dampen the noise as it felt like the most active area of the upstairs residence was right over the bed (they do provide ear plugs). Other than that the apartment was very comfortable and the amenities were generous (coffee, snacks, water, shampoo, conditioner, etc.)

Suzy's place was wonderful, comfortable and in a great location. We arrived early and Suzy was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Richmond.

My new favorite stay in Richmond. Shana’s place was absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated and furnished. Location is good, right around cafes and a short 10 min drive from some of the more premiere restaurants. I will say it does get noisy there because of it being on top of a banquet hall and on a Main Street but the host does make that well aware prior to your stay. The noise didn’t bother me at all but I know most people are sensitive to city noise and loud music but if you can look past that, it’s an incredible stay. Will definitely be booking here often for the foreseeable future.

A great find! A bright clean space with everything you might need. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars in walking distance. We love the neighborhood. When we messaged the host with a question, she responded immediately. We look forward to coming back.

My wife and I were in town visiting family and friends for the holidays. Tommy's place was in a perfect location and at a fair cost. Most importantly he was extremely helpful and over-communicated everything we would need to get in and set expectations. We will be back. --david and emily
