The villa is tucked away in a quiet place away from the bustling town. It was the perfect cozy home for us, looking to escape the city in search of some peace and quiet. The host, Simran, and her parents, are very welcoming and very giving, making it very easy to get comfortable. Definitely a must for couples or families looking for a good vacation homestay!

Deva Homestay Inn

This place is actually better than the photos. We were a group of 5 traveling from Goa to Coorg and were exhausted. Even though we reached this place closer to midnight. NAMGYAL and his son MIYO welcomed us with such enthusiasm and joy, it took all our travel fatigue away. This place worked like magic for us. The house was super tidy and clean. It had all the things we needed. Just walk up to the terrace to get mesmerized by the view and the chirping sounds of the birds. Also listen to the peacocks joining the orchestra. It's so relaxing up there. Paradise for Yoga enthusiasts. This place has got such positive vibes. Leaving this place made us a little sad. Such was the aura there. I was overwhelmed as I had booked it, coz my friends wouldn't stop praising this place. Kudos to Namgyal for being a wonderful host and we would definitely choose this place if we ever visit Coorg again. I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Thanks Namgyal & Miyo

Wildflower Garden cottage

After spending 4 days at Bharath's place, I can only think of good things to say. The location is excellent if you're looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. The home overlooks coffee plantations and also forests on a hill - there is greenery everywhere! The property itself is a home with beautifully maintained flowers and other plants. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable. There is an attached kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and basic utensils - enough to make quick meals but nothing elaborate. The bathroom is clean and we had no trouble getting hot water. The beds are comfortable. Can't really ask for more. Spots such as the Irpu Falls and Nagarhole NP are nearby. Importantly, Bharath and his family are wonderful people, and made us feel right at home. As long as you have the expectation that this is not a commercial venture and you're staying in someone's home, you are sure to have a very peaceful and relaxing trip to Coorg when staying here.
An open space features a high, sloped ceiling supported by a wooden structure. Large windows with horizontal slats allow natural light to fill the area, while greenery can be seen through the openings. A light fixture hangs centrally from the rafters.

Gombachi estate

BopannaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The home stay is in a middle of a coffee estate. The living area is in the first floor. Overlooking a small valley. You can see fields and a man made lake in a distance. Mornings were a highlight with thick mists and as they clear you hear countless birds. The place offers authentic south Indian cuisine. They also take special requests if there are more than 6 people. The host was very friendly and always ready to help. From our conversation I understood he used to work in automotive sales in cities like mysore and bangalore but eventually decided to switch to farming and moved to his ancestral property. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
