The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The host was incredibly friendly and always quick to respond to my messages, which made the whole stay even more pleasant. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would gladly stay here again.

Title: A Truly Memorable and Restorative Stay Review: I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Gerston Hall Wine Keeper's Annexe in Strrington. The hosts, Lisa and Martyn, were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always approachable and responded to any questions promptly and courteously, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. The accommodation was exactly as described—peaceful and comfortable. Upon arrival, I was touched to find a thoughtful selection of breakfast essentials including bread, milk, butter, homemade jam, coffee, and tea. This warm gesture was a lovely welcome and set the tone for the rest of the stay. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful. I woke each morning to the sound of birdsong and ended each day marvelling at the star-filled night sky. Visiting in spring meant I was lucky to see fresh green foliage, bluebells, and wild garlic in full bloom, creating a truly picturesque and healing landscape. The property includes a vast vineyard. Warm, welcoming, well equipped, cosy and comfortable accommodation, ideally situated for exploring Southsea and Old Portsmouth. Just a few minutes walk to the Southsea sea front and 10 - 15 minutes walk to The King's Theatre, where we were attending an event. Catherine, our host, was very proactive in communicating with us throughout, with clear instructions for checking in, where to park, key safe code and wifi login details etc. Parking was on street, readily available and right outside the accommodation, which is in a quiet location. Catherine even provided the appropriate parking permit, for just £3.00. All of this made for a very relaxing stay, at a price that was highly competetive, based on the prices quoted by other hotels and guest houses in the area. Highly recommended.

Brilliant location right next to the beach and a short walk to east and west wittering, or a bus to take you further afield. Fell in love with the Witterings. Highly recommended.

Bay Cottage was just what we all needed . A total reset from the hustle bustle. Great accommodation with beautiful views of the sea. The children and adults all made good use of the hot tub with beautiful sea views. So relaxing. The kitchen space was amazing and comes into its own with the sea views along the back of the house. Perfect location with all restaurants in walking distance . Highly recommend. We all had a brilliant time and will be returning. Walks to our favourite spot Steep Hill Cove right from our front door a real gem. Will differently be returning with the family . Denise Walker and Family
