Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Frenchboro

Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

Brian’s AirBnb is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The keypad check in is simple. The home is spotless. There are plenty of linens and kitchenware. The home is close to Acadia and downtown Ellsworth. If you want a short drive to Acadia and MDI, this is your place!

Man we were so lucky to get the opportunity to stay at Judi's place. My wife and I stayed there while we were eloping in Bar Harbor and it was so fun!!! We had never stayed on an island that you have to ferry to but it was honestly way easier than you think it's going to be. Judi provided AMAZING notes and recommendations, we felt very prepared before we got there! Is there anything I would change about our stay? Nope! The only thing to note is that the market was closed the weekend we were there because the family that runs it was out of town! Haha so small town! So just make sure you check that if you're planning on getting stuff from there but it's so easy to get back and forth from Northeast Harbor it really wasn't a problem. Would I recommend this to anyone? 10000000% I would and I hope we get to bring our son back to stay here as well someday! Thank you so much for an amazing stay Judi!!!!!!

We loved staying a short drive away from Bar Harbor and central the the sites and hikes in Acadia National Park.

We had a great stay. The Barn is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed and more. We had very warm weather and the air conditioning works great.

This place was located in such a beautiful space. The house was great, spacious, and clean for five of us and the scenery was jaw dropping. We cooked most nights and Michelle had everything we needed. We also loved using the kayaks, hanging out watching the NBA finals from the hot tub and reading on the deck. The drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was only about an hour away and we would eat late lunches at the variety of restaurants in that area. Schoondic Point is also a must see! Staying at this location was a great way to experience Maine with our family.

The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. in the listing. Check In was easy & the host was very responsive when sent a message. The location was peaceful yet close to surrounding Cities. Highly Recommend!

This is a nice cabin positioned in some comfortable woods with lots of New England charm. Very easy access to acadia national park now, there are plenty of amenities to keep you busy. We took out the paddle boards on echo lake and it was a lot of fun for our entire family. sadly, it rained and we couldn't enjoy it's well prepared fire pit and outdoor eating area. Our kids loved the king sized bunk bed, and the welcome Maine blueberry pie was a nice touch.

We had a great time at the open hearth inn it was a beautiful place and so close to Acadia. The hot tub was fantastic and everything was so clean and comfortable.

Really nice well-kept space. It was very clean! Location was perfect for visiting the area. Private and peaceful! Loved walking down to the river just outside of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great week here. The location was great for walking into town. The apartment was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was also plenty fast for a bit of work.

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

The cleanest air bnb I have ever seen--equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the most adorable design! This place made our girls trip. It's the perfect place when visiting Acadia, and there are cute businesses around and along the way to the park. We couldn't have hoped for more with our stay! You have to book it !!!! We didn't want to leave! Thank you Alice for an amazing experience!

The Loon’s Nest was our favorite Airbnb that we have stayed at so far! Donna and Dave were very quick to respond to questions and we appreciated their recommendations for things to do both in and out of Acadia. The Loon’s Nest was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning watching the loons as well as having fires and watching the squirrels play in the evening. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a a great view to watch the sun come up in the morning. Hope to stay again sometime!

Renee’s place was wonderful stay for our family visiting Acadia. Lots of homey touches made us feel right at home. Beautiful apartment and location. Would absolutely stay here again!

My mother and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend and a nearby wedding. As lifelong Mainers, we were looking for a rustic camp on the water with a screened porch, and this place delivered. We spent our time reading, napping, walking, and even doing a little work (the internet was surprisingly fast). It was so nice that we could include our small dog with us as well. While the camp has a rustic charm, it’s thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts: comfy beds, quality linens, a smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided extras most don’t—like paper goods, baggies, matches, and toiletries—and were nearby if anything was needed. They even included shower essentials if you happened to forget any. The sunrise was spectacular from the front porch. Loons swam by daily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have extended it---we would definitely book again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

The pictures don’t do it justice! This cabin has it all, and Bethany was a great host. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I would stay here again.

Megan’s home is beautiful and welcoming. It’s ideally located on the quieter side of the island. She’s a wonderful and knowledgeable host. We would stay here again without hesitation. Charming, spacious and comfortable.

Old school cabin vibes! Loved this place and we will be back to spend much longer than our short 2 days. I loved having a fire going after a day in the woods and hopping into a cozy bed. It was too cold for us to go swimming- but their were canoes, kayaks, row boats and other water crafts to choose from. Beautiful and rustic. Clean and comfortable. Also we left something behind and they shipped it the next day . Thank you!

Such a cozy cabin! So picturesque and perfect for a post-Acadia day. We cooked a homemade meal and made s’mores by the fire — would have also loved to kayak if we had more time too. Very lovely and quiet spot - would def recommend staying here.

Kelly's cabin was a very quiet and peaceful place where we were able to enjoy the beach right on the property, watch the sunset and the changing water levels on the shore. The cabins are about a 45 minute drive from Acadia and Bar Harbor which are a must for a long or short vacation in Maine. Our cabin was simple but had everything we needed and Kelly was very responsive with any questions we had.

Great stay! Loved the cabin! Loved the record player and listening to some oldies. Would definitely stay here again!
