Monthly Rentals in French Island

Nora is super welcoming and if I had any questions she responded super fast. She gave me helpful tips as well with random things that I didn’t necessarily know about which was nice. The space was super cozy and I felt at home. I stayed for 44 days and never had an issue with anything. Thank you Nora for letting me stay at such a wonderful place.

I always think I will run out of superlatives to describe this place But no We have booked several times this year (and are likely to do more) Yes the hosts are wonderfully responsive and the accommodations are beautiful.. but this place is meant for those of us who strive for peace, quiet and a need to commune with nature and watch the river change with the seasons And yet so close to a diverse cultural community when great food and music is needed! Enough I need to save some words for next time

We had a nice stay at this Airbnb! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood right across the street from the river, the location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space was more than enough for two adults and our dog, with plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the thoughtful inclusion of a dog bed and toys, which made our pup feel right at home. Another plus was the short drive to downtown La Crosse, making it easy to explore the city and surrounding areas.

This was an excellent choice. My sister and I came to the area prior to a conference. We used the cabin as a home base to explore Minnesota and Wisconsin. Comfortable and convenient-a great location. The birds and trees made for a perfect get away! The antique furnishings, wool work, and artisan details were an unexpected delight. Would book again!
