Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fremington

We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Thank you Trystan, we had a wonderful time at The Stonehouse. The home and gardens were exceptional. Everything is well thought out and charming. We spent two nights here and only touched the surface of the area which was beautiful and varied. Trystan was always responsive, kind and helpful, he offered plenty of local advise and had a very relaxed manner. The garden was excellent.... peaceful and well equipped. We would love to stay again, the whole place was enchanted.

Amazing house, with beautiful scenery; photos don’t do it justice. Samantha was always quick to answer any questions and as a birthday surprise on arrival, had put up banners/balloons which I’d posted to her. There’s everything you can think of/need at the house and the hot tub was an added bonus; we went in every day! Would highly recommend and would love to return one day!

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Fantastic bungalow, easy for two guests with mobility issues. Well equipped kitchen. Good quality furnishings.

We had a lovely relaxing break away as a family. Helen & Jonathan made us feel very welcome and decorated the cottage to celebrate my birthday, so thoughtful and unexpected. Really recommend this cottage.

The most stunning stay at Ross and Becky’s property, the views and location is second to none and the facilities and comfort of the hut is beyond our expectations. We stayed as a group of four adult women and the space was more than adequate. I can’t wait to return.

The cottage was perfect for a weekend away. It had everything we needed and the location is amazing. The river outside makes the area feel so peaceful. We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

The only regrettable thing about our stay- is that we didn’t stay for longer! What a gem Blue Pebbles is- ideally situated for amazing views from the patio and balcony, for coastal walks or for beach days literally on your doorstep. The house is spacious, extremely comfortable and well equipped- a real home from home and we had a superb time with fabulous weather too. The welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated and we will definitely be returning to Blue Pebbles to enjoy everything the house and the area has to offer. Thankyou for sharing this holiday gem with us- we loved every minute of our stay x

A great place to stay to explore beautiful Exmoor. The second time we have stayed there its clean, cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the coast and access to great walks.

Wonderful cottage in a peaceful location. Great base for exploring Devon with the kids. Very dog friendly too and the fenced off woods were a fantastic bonus. Cottage was a typical farm cottage (which is what we like) and was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kids loved watching the horses each day. We had a wonderful stay at Hilary and Graham’s annex with our baby, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The annex was spotless, peaceful, and completely private—ideal for us as new parents. Hilary and Graham were incredibly kind and helpful throughout, always checking in to make sure we were okay, without ever being intrusive. Their thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality made a big difference. A lovely place hosted by truly lovely people—we’d love to come back!

Tracey and Simon's place is a fabulous little cottage set on their beautiful little farm. The cottage has everything you'll need to make yourself comfortable, and even more so. You'll have your own little area that is fenced off to let your pooches off lead and a table to sit and admire the surroundings and their animals. A private parking spot and easy check in made arrival smooth. Tracey and Simon were even kind enough to make us a little cake on arrival, which was delicious. This place is definitely worth a stay if you want some peace and quiet.

A lovely stay in an idyllic setting. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful blossoming garden. The house itself was charming. We will definitely be back. Theresa was very friendly and helpful.

Really special position, very close to the cliffs and coastal path. Katy communicated really well and we had a great time there.

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

A lovely stay, the kids (5 & 3) absolutely loved the morning animal feed and games room. Mike and Julie were very friendly and helpful will trips out. We made use of the ample toddler equipment (including a bed guard). Enjoyed exploring the area even though the weather forgot it was summer, loved Clovelly and local beaches.

We really enjoyed staying here during February half term (family of 4 - kids 11 and 7). The weather was fairly terrible but it didn’t matter as we had use of the pool and my husband was happy fishing in the rain! Accommodation well equipped and clean and really warm. The pool is beautiful and the rota system is good meaning you know you have the pool to yourself for half the day, then the other cottage gets it for the other half (other than the cheeky people next door on Thursday morning who ignored the rota and went in anyway when it was our turn…) The cottage is so peaceful with beautiful countryside around and our dog loved the field and woods. We went to RHS Rosemoor and highly recommend The Globe at Beaford for good food and really friendly service. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days away.

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

A perfect last minute get away. We booked super last minute and Linda was extremely helpful allowing us to do this. Her communication was spot on throughout our stay. We were really impressed with this especially because she was literally in opposite time zones. Her place is on a classic British holiday park. Perfect for young families. We made the most of the evening entertainment, parks and swimming pools. The chalet itself is extremely well equipped. It has quite literally everything you might need during your stay: Games, books, cleaning products, an abundance of kitchen equipment & utensils, spare batteries for all the appliances, plug in air fresheners re fills, quite literally THE LOT. The beds were super comfortable and clean. The decor was maybe a little dated but this isn’t a criticism because it was all perfectly functional. Overall a great stay with our 3 year old. Fantastic. Top tip: Milkyway adventure park up the road was really good.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Naomi’s place with our two young children. The location is perfect - 5 min walk from the beach and literally a road away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. View is spectacular when having a cup of tea by the window! Use of the amenities at the nearby holiday park is a real bonus. Apartment was absolutely spotless, and had some really thoughtful extras, like a hidden doll house, some kids books and games. Thank you for a brilliant stay, we’ll be back!

We had a really good stay at The Granary. The cottage and facilities were great, especially the pool and sauna. The location was perfect for visiting different parts of Devon, and we found a couple of good restaurants close by (The Lost Kitchen and Spelt). Jonathan was a great host, sharing very helpful information before our stay and communicating clearly throughout. Highly recommended and we would love to visit again.
