Vacation rentals with a patio in Fortuna

Always grateful to be able to stay with Heather andEric. The large unit is absolutely gorgeous, huge, well-appointed, and everything is always simple and easy. And very close to all of the amenities inArcata, mostly in walking distance. we will be back!

Holly and John were great hosts. Their place is very private and quiet. Ideal for a relaxing weekend away from civilization. They were very responsive and friendly. Would love to stay with them if I’m in the area again.

Jake's place was easy, cute and comfortable. Also, close-in to the restaurants and fun in Eureka while also being in a cute neighborhood. Bathroom is nice and big and plenty of space to enjoy the kitchen. Quiet at night to sleep.

Great experience! Very responsive and attentive. Loved the two tvs and the hot tub was a huge bonus. Very cozy and private! We had kids as well so we were happy to stay somewhere kid-friendly.

Theresa's place had everything you'd look for in a spot like Shelter Cove. It was private, had all the amenities, and offered the best price in the area for a studio with a full kitchen, deck, and bathroom. Her place has a little binder on the corner table with all the information about restaurants, nearby hikes, and everything else you might need. I used it as my food guide for the three days I spent here. Theresa was quick to respond when I was running a little late for check-in. Even though she wasn't on the property, she and Chris made sure I was comfortable. I'm definitely coming back.

Katie’s spacious place is a lovely home in its own right- not at all a basement apartment, like some places we have stayed. She has seen to it that it has every comfort you could want- and on top of that it is a place of great beauty with gorgeous art in every room. We appreciated luxuriously comfortable beds, robes, thick, soft towels , wonderful homemade bread, fruit and cheese, refreshing drinks- by far the best air bnb we have stayed in. From the home we walked downtown and enjoyed fun shops and a great food co-op. From the house we also walked to the Community Forest- absolutely beautiful trails among Redwoods, creeks and forest plants. Katie and Randy have put so much love and care into their home- we are so grateful we got to meet them ( and their cute dog Frida who was wearing a Pearl necklace!) and stay there.

We were visiting the Redwood National and State Parks and opted to stay at Shannon’s Airbnb in McKinleyville. We absolutely loved the Airbnb itself. It looked exactly as advertised and included ALL the amenities: a washer/dryer with detergent for use, fully stocked kitchen (cooking utensils, cooking oil, pots/pans, etc), bathroom toiletries, etc. Shannon’s Airbnb literally had everything, and we immediately felt right at home. FYI, McKinleyville is quite a ways away from Jedidiah Smith and Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park, but ideally located between Eureka and Trinidad with many dining options! 💯 would stay again!

Beautiful place! What a gem. Hope to stay there again. So peaceful and gem for a restful sleep on a long road trip.

Natalie did a great job giving directions and instructions for the property. The space was large and accommodating for our big group of 10. We played ping pong, grilled burgers, went to the beach, and relaxed. The location was great - in a quiet neighborhood moments from the restaurants and businesses of McKinleyville, 15 mins from the beach (if that), and 20 or so minutes from Eureka which has slightly more to offer. There are redwood hikes within close proximity as well. If you’re looking for a relaxing coastal getaway spot, this is the place!

Our second stay was great and we’d be happy to stay again in the future. The home is clean and comfortable. We made thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen! Jamie is helpful and responsive! Thanks again!

The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great, and the place was clean. The location was good for access to long hikes with the redwoods, which was our primary goal.

We had a great stay at Jie’s place! My favorite part was hiking the 20 minutes through the Franklin nature trail to the Black Sand Beach! We made many meals there, and had some great connecting time as a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Pictures do not do this place justice.

"In the Redwoods" is an understatement. Huge, beautiful trees on the property. Nice drive thru parking. Large, open living room with great windows. Master bedroom has sliding glass doors to patio in backyard. Very quiet. Very pretty. Also loved the Large, deep bath tub! 3 min. to grocery and restaurants. Both bedrooms had queen beds. We had ALL the windows open all day and night. Slept like babies. Great location!

It was a cute spot with extra comforts, like being extra clean and having brand new appliances as well as lovely heated floors. The home was comfy with little noise and interruptions, perfect for a few days in the redwoods.

Ian’s place is in a beautiful neighborhood near Cal Poly Humboldt. Very comfortable private home. Within walking distance to the Arcata Community Forest is key allowing for breathtaking walks in the redwoods from the home and back. Location is marvelous, also just a short drive to the quaint downtown. The home was cozy, clean and equipped with everything for a nice stay. I would be happy to stay again.

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

It was such peaceful and beautiful experience! The sound of the waves were so calming to us and to our puppies (they were sleeping on the deck). The fully stocked kitchen was a bliss as we love to cook while we are in any airbnb. And this kitchen was amazing!

Our stay at Cliff House’s Magnificent Room was ideal for a relaxing weekend. Walking to the Black Sand Beach was a pleasant surprise, and the breathtaking views were unforgettable. The fireplace was inviting, but the hot tub was the highlight—soaking under the stars after exploring the Lost Coast was unmatched. Despite concerns about winter storms, the weather was perfect. The well-equipped kitchen made preparing a Thanksgiving meal easy. A truly memorable experience—we can’t wait to return!
