Our stay at Salvatore’s place was absolutely perfect. It’s one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in all of Italy, and definitely the best one in Sicily. It’s beautiful, well-equipped, and incredibly well-located. There’s parking just a 3-minute walk away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s close to all the main attractions, and Salvatore communicates very well. I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment in the center of Avola, very hospitable and very clean. Equipped with a large terrace where you can have breakfast outdoors and enjoy the silence of the evening. A stone's throw from the center, you can reach numerous places and monuments on foot. The host, very kind, welcomed us and accompanied us to the checkout in an impeccable and professional manner. What a fantastic bnb in a great location Super sunny & bright. Spacious. Lovely view over the beach & water. Very comfortable. Solid A/C. & 1k to one of the best restaurants ever, Manna! Don’t miss this amazing dinner spot! Good deli & fruit stand near the other end of pier. Livia very helpful & responsive host. I’d come here again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at Jacopo's place. The home is beatifull and has lots of room and space including a nice patio to sit out back. The location is "interesting"; on a big intersection but well located to use it as a base to to explore other areas (we visited Syracuse, Noto, Marzamemi) and at the same time a 5 minute drive to the lovely beach of Spiaggia Lido d'Avola. Although Jacopo was extremely helpful and responsive, a set of instructions and a list of recommendations for the area would be helpful when you arrive.

Enza was a great host, she was so helpful, kind and responsive. The apartment was perfect and so close to everything but down a beautiful quiet street.

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

This is an amazing property which looks even better than the photos . The quality of all the items from the bed linen to the kitchenware are all top quality not what you would expect from a rental. The property was spotlessy clean throughout and the two terraces were fabulous. On saying all this the star is the host Francesco who collected us in his car from the bus terminal and on arrival at the property had lunch of delicious Sicilian food waiting for us and also a very thoughtful gift . He was also super quick in responding to any questions we had and his local recommendations for food were spot on. Five star +++ all round

We stayed with our 2-year-old daughter in this accommodation and it was ideal for us. Right on the beach, few people, quiet surroundings, there are even beach toys for the kids. So we didn't lack anything. The communication with the host worked great. We would come back any time!

We had a wonderful stay in Stefania’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and the attention to detail was evident throughout - from providing of extensive cooking equipment to beach towels and umbrellas. The terrace was the highlight for us and we enjoyed relaxing and cooking at the outdoor kitchen. Stefania’s recommendations were also amazing, we visited several and enjoyed them all. We loved our stay here and hope to return to Ortigia and Stefania’s place someday!

This was an amazing place to stay. We spent hours admiring the 180 degree view, so relaxing. The facilities on offer were excellent and the icing on the cake was Santi….what a host ! Never intrusive but always available with ideas and support. The best holiday ever. Grazie Mille.

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

This was a fantastic base for our 5 nights in Ortigia - accessible on foot to everything we wanted to do, about 10 minutes from the InCoop supermarket which supplied us well for cooking in the small but perfectly formed kitchen. Lots of thoughtful/artistic touches, from artworks to bathroom and kitchen supplies. A wonderful place to be, great style to the apartment, with a very comfortable bed and fantastic views from all three balconies/out of the bedroom window. Having a washing machine was super-helpful too! Manuel was a very welcoming host, explaining the way things worked and gave plenty of local recommendations plus other local advice. The description is very accurate, including the 65 steps from the street to the apartment- unless this many steps will be an issue for you, I’d highly recommend booking this apartment. If I was ever to return to Siracusa I’d definitely want to stay here again.

Cristina was an excellent host and her house is in a perfect location if you have a car to explore the surrounding region ( you can park at the street for free) or want to explore Ortygia by foot ( 15-20min far) and of course Syracuses!! She is very kind and our little son was very happy about the details (toys and granita!). We can definitely recommend her for a true Sicilian hospitality!!!

Rosa could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries we had. We haven't given 5 stars for the location only because there is a redevelopment of the promenade at the moment in front of the apartment which is not active at the moment, but will take time to complete. It did not disturb us at all but not the best immediate view. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Ortiga more than compensates for that temporary aspect.
