Cottage vacation rentals in Follonica

This small cottage offers a great view of the town and surrounding area. It is very quiet and private just outside of town. The living areas are comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had a really nice gas range and oven along with all of the necessary cooking items a person could want. I loved using the moka pot for my morning coffee! We took advantage of the outdoor patio dining area to enjoy our meals several times. There were several books and maps provided as great resources. We especially appreciated the book on common Italian birds and maps for hiking. Davide was very responsive as a host and provided good recommendations during our stay. We had one issue with a leaky faucet during our stay, which was fixed promptly.

Casa linda e muito confortável! Daniela e Alberto nos receberam muito bem! Sempre solícitos. A piscina eh o ponto alto ainda mais com crianças e calor! E cada quarto tem seu espaço privando com churrasqueira! Voltarem com certeza.

Es ist ein nettes Häuschen in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Man kann direkt los laufen und viel erleben.

This place is truly a 10/10. I’ve stayed at dozens of BNBs over this year and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorites. Every detail, from the decor to the cleanliness to the nature to the spaciousness, is phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! One thing to keep in mind is that it’s nestled quite far into the mountains so whenever we went on day trips like to Pienza or Pitigliano, it was always around an hour drive or more.

L'atmosfera del Casale Acquaviva è davvero particolare, tra gattini, silenzio e piscina...ci siamo trovati benissimo :)

Wundervolles toskanisches Haus mit toller Ausstattung. Die Lage ist traumhaft - man ist schnell in Pisa und am Meer - die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war das beste was ich je erlebt habe

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit in der Unterkunft von Olga. Das kleine Häuschen ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Terrasse und der Pool liegen in einem sehr schönen gepflegten Garten. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und Olga war immer gut zu erreichen. Sie hat uns mit Lebensmitteln für die erste Zeit willkommen geheißen. Insbesondere haben wir uns über den lecken selbstgemachten Kuchen sowieso das Olivenöl aus eigener Ernte und die frischen Kräuter aus dem Garten gefreut. Alles in allem hatten wir eine sehr schöne und ruhige Zeit, auch wenn das Wetter teilweise nicht ganz so mitgespielt hat, wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Wer eine ruhige und entspannte Auszeit in der Natur sucht, ist bei Olga genau richtig.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato due notti nel Seccatoio delle castagne del Podere di Maggio. Che dire? Un vero paradiso: incastonato in una vallata meravigliosa con il monte Amiata difronte e il bellissimo borgo medievale di Santa Fiora. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio: struttura meravigliosa, ben curata, nei dettagli, una pace impagabile. I padroni di casa sono stati fantastici, ospitali e ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa. Insomma tutto perfetto, non manca nulla, ovvio devi amare la vita bucolica come noi ! Unica pecca? Due notti sono state troppo brevi e sicuramente torneremo . Grazie Peter , Rita e dolce Noemi. Die Unterkunft von Giovanni entspricht den Erwartungen die man durch die Beschreibung und den Bildern erhält in vollem Umfang. Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern Vorort. Das ist auch das Maximum und eher sehr eng aber das war uns vorher klar. Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen und etwa 2,5 km von dem Ort Scarlino entfernt. Wir fanden es sehr ruhig und in wunderbarer Lage. Wir sind morgens mit dem Fahrrad zum Bäcker gefahren um frische Brötchen zu kaufen. Das Highlight ist aber der fantastische große Pool welcher morgens und nachmittags vor und nach unserem Strandtag ausgiebig genutzt wurde. Des Weiteren kann man sich auch unter einen schönen Schattenplatz unter der riesigen Palme am Pool ausruhen. Der nächste Strand ist ca. 10km entfernt in Follonica. Der Strand ist sehr groß und lang aber in den Sommerferien natürlich sehr voll. Wir haben uns fast alle Strände in 30min Entfernung angesehen und genossen. Auch die Stadt Pisa ist in 1 Stunde 45min gut zu erreichen und sehr sehenswert

Abbiamo passato una notte nella dependance con due cani e ci siamo trovate benissimo! Posto situato in mezzo alle campagne toscane dove regna pace e tranquillità. Sicuramente ci torneremo per passare qualche giorno in più.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy life. Large pool with lounge chairs, perfect outdoor seating at the each unit and a large common covered area too, Shoot a few hoops or play ping pong. Nice laundry machine with soap to reduce your suitcase size. Oh, I couldn’t believe how nice all the landscaping was perfectly manicured. Very well kept place with so much character.

Because of the gorgeous remoteness, it took us some time to locate the entrance gate, but then we entered heaven. The place is captivating in so many ways - the historic stone structure, the entrancing views, the homey & artistic decor. It was like visiting a friend and being welcomed into a warm family retreat. Prepare to cocoon as there is no nearby store and few restaurant options. The roads were in poor condition due to recent severe storms, so it was an adventure to make our way in the evening to Castellina for dinner and back . The road in the opposite direction toward Radda was completely closed! But I loved our short stay and will dream of returning.

Die Unterkunft ist Teil einer kleinen Siedlung inmitten der Natur. Die Kommunikation mit Massimo war sehr herzlich und angenehm; der Check-in/-out problemfrei. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und bot alles, was für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt nötig ist. Da die Nächte noch frisch waren, haben wir uns über den Kaminofen sehr gefreut. Vielen Dank.

Ulisse's was really helpful as he met me at his restaurant and I followed him to the cottage. There is a coop, a butchers, a bakery and a little supermarket in Buccine and a small market on Wednesday mornings, which is really handy as there is not much around the cottage. It is in the middle of the country side surrounded by vineyards and nature, a perfect place for nature lovers. Ulisse, his wife and daughter were all really helpful and quick to resolve issues. For anyone trying to find it, have the petrol station and ristorante di ciccio on your left then continue straight on the SP540 , once you pass ristorante le bottega grassa ( a white building on your right) it is your next right turn ( the dump where you need to dispose of your rubbish from the cottage is on the right of this road) then take your next left signed "Le Mura" you continue down this road until a big yellow and white hse on the left and the big stone house on the right, the cottage is beside the stone house.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Cennina. The setting was absolutely beautiful. We felt remote yet were just a few minutes from nearby Ambra and Bucine. We highly recommend this place and we hope to return soon.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Antonello. Il est très accueillant, en dépit du fait qu'il ne parle qu'Italien, et allemand, si je ne me trompe pas. Il a été tres compréhensible sur le fait que nous arrivions plus tôt que l'heure prévue. Nous avons pu déposer nos bagages et la nourriture que nous avions apportée de notre précédent logement, chez lui. A notre retour, nous avons été agréablement surpris de voir qu'il avait tout transféré dans notre location et avait même mis nos bouteilles au réfrigérateur 🤩. La piscine est superbe, à très bonne température, et les transats à disposition, sont confortables, il y a même une douche, ce qui est très bien. Vous pouvez mangez à l'extérieur, à l'ombre, il y a différents espaces à votre disposition. En résumé, nous pouvons dire que nous avons passe un excellent séjour, dans un magnifique environment, calme, aménagé avec goût. Il faut prévoir d'y venir en voiture, si vous souhaitez visiter....

Domek jest śliczny, dobrze wyposażony, wszystko co na zdjęciach. Łóżka wygodne. Czysto. Ogród wspaniały, pięknie śpiewają ptaki, można naprawdę odpocząć, leżaki, altanka. Bardzo spokojna okolica. Jedyny minus - rowery nie nadają się do użycia… Wróciłabym tam bardzo chętnie! Zdecydowanie godne polecenia.

Wir haben zweieinhalb wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Sowohl Andrea von Be Home Services als auch insbesondere die Besitzer Nara und Nino haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren jederzeit bei Fragen erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die einsame Lage des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen - man hat einen umwerfenden Weitblick und es ist trotz der Nachbarn weitestgehend sehr ruhig. Man sollte wissen, dass die nahe gelegene Villa Ulignano als Hochzeitslocation genutzt wird. An zwei Wochenenden gab es dort bis in die frühen Morgenstunden Livemusik, die zwar deutlich hörbar war, uns aber nicht übermäßig gestört hat. Erwähnenswert ist, dass die auf den Außenaufnahmen des Hauses abgebildete untere Etage nicht genutzt werden kann, sondern als Abstellraum für die Besitzer dient. Die Fahrt zum Haus ist - wie hier bereits beschrieben - recht abenteuerlich und führt einige Kilometer über unbefestigte, teils steile Wege. Wenn man langsam fährt, ist dies aber gut zu bewältigen.

Soprattutto devo dire che questo posto è unico dove sperimentare molta pace e tranquillità. Il giardino offre una splendida vista su San Gimignano e sulle valli toscane da cui non si riesce a staccare gli occhi. Poggetto di Montese si trova vicino a San Gimignano ed è anche un’ottima base per esplorare la Toscana. Il nostro soggiorno è stato bellissimo, appartamento molto comodo e pulito. L'appartamento ha tutto ciò che serve e necessario. I padroni di casa sono stati molto gentili e disponibili e hanno risposto rapidamente alle nostre domande e richieste. Grazie di cuore per vostra ospitalità. Siamo molto soddisfatti della nostra vacanza di maggio. Alla prossima!

Airbnb tout simplement incroyable. Le domaine est magnifique, vous pouvez admirer les magnifiques paysages de la Toscane depuis les hauteurs. Vous serez surpris de voir que ce Airbnb est encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Et que dire de Concetta, une hôte toujours disponible, aussi bien pour s’assurer du confort de ses locataires que pour donner des tips sur les sorties/restaurants dans le coin. Je ne saurais que vous le recommander 👌

We have been using Airbnb for approximately 15 years all over the world and this was without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We immediately felt so relaxed and at home here. The view from the property is stunning - it was like living in a beautiful picture! Seeing wild deer late at night and early in the morning was an unexpected delight. Panzano has some superb restaurants and is perfectly situated for exploring some of the best places Tuscany has to offer. Finally, Lucrezia was so, so lovely - a completely charming host! We are coming again next year and cannot wait!
