Cottage vacation rentals in Follonica

This small cottage offers a great view of the town and surrounding area. It is very quiet and private just outside of town. The living areas are comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had a really nice gas range and oven along with all of the necessary cooking items a person could want. I loved using the moka pot for my morning coffee! We took advantage of the outdoor patio dining area to enjoy our meals several times. There were several books and maps provided as great resources. We especially appreciated the book on common Italian birds and maps for hiking. Davide was very responsive as a host and provided good recommendations during our stay. We had one issue with a leaky faucet during our stay, which was fixed promptly.

Complete accommodation and very well-equipped. Its private terrace offers very good tranquility. Daniela and Alberto are very welcoming and friendly. 20 minutes to the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany! Grazie Daniela and Alberto!🙂

A charming place in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by nature and absolute tranquility. The farmhouse, passionately managed by Natasha and her brother, offers well-kept environments, a splendid panoramic swimming pool, and all the comforts for a regenerating stay, such as a Jacuzzi tub. Their welcome warms the heart. Every detail is thought out with love. Ideal for those looking for relaxation, beauty and authenticity. Thank you very much, we will be back very soon!

This place is truly a 10/10. I’ve stayed at dozens of BNBs over this year and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorites. Every detail, from the decor to the cleanliness to the nature to the spaciousness, is phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! One thing to keep in mind is that it’s nestled quite far into the mountains so whenever we went on day trips like to Pienza or Pitigliano, it was always around an hour drive or more.

The atmosphere of Casale Acquaviva is really special, among kittens, quiet and pool...we had a great time :)

Wonderful Tuscan house with great amenities. The location is fantastic - you can quickly get to Pisa and the sea - communication with the hosts was the best I have ever experienced

The house is very spacious and the garden is really very pleasant. The kitchen and the master bathroom (huge) are renovated. We really appreciated that the rooms were air conditioned especially since we were there in the hottest period. However, we were surprised to have to buy garbage bags, as there was only one for each trash can, except for the compost that had several. Same for toilet paper, there was just 1 per bathroom. The pool was very hot and the garden was very well-equipped. We had a crib for an additional charge of €10/day which was a little expensive. There were children's toys, but no high chair (good to know). You should know that the access is a little bumpy and that you have to open your eyes to see the bend for the path that leads to the house. It has the advantage of being very quiet and private.

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Olga's place. The small cottage is furnished with a lot of love for detail and nothing is missing. The terrace and pool are located in a very nice well-kept garden. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and Olga was always easy to reach. She welcomed us with food for the first time. In particular, we were pleased with the delicious homemade cakes, the olive oil from our own harvest and the fresh herbs from the garden. All in all, we had a very nice and quiet time, even if the weather sometimes did not quite play along as we had imagined. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break in nature, Olga is the right place for you.

Giovanni's place fully meets the expectations given by the description and images. We were on site with 3 adults and 3 kids. That is also the maximum and rather very tight but that was clear to us beforehand. The house is a bit remote and about 2.5 km from the place Scarlino. We found it very quiet and in a wonderful location. We took the bike to the bakery in the morning to buy fresh rolls. However, the highlight is the fantastic large pool which was used extensively in the morning and in the afternoon before and after our beach day. Furthermore, you can also rest under a beautiful shade place under the huge palm tree by the pool. The nearest beach is about 10km away in Follonica. The beach is very large and long but of course very crowded during the summer holidays. We looked at and enjoyed almost all the beaches 30min away. The city of Pisa is also easily accessible in 1 hour 45 minutes and is very worth seeing

We spent a night in the guest house with two dogs and had a great time! Place located in the middle of the Tuscan countryside where peace and tranquility reign. We'll definitely be back to spend a few more days.

Great experience

Amazing place to relax and enjoy life. Large pool with lounge chairs, perfect outdoor seating at the each unit and a large common covered area too, Shoot a few hoops or play ping pong. Nice laundry machine with soap to reduce your suitcase size. Oh, I couldn’t believe how nice all the landscaping was perfectly manicured. Very well kept place with so much character.

This was our 2nd wonderful stay and it was every bit as good as the first. Niccolò is a very attentive host and was there to welcome us when we arrived and run through how everything worked. The cottage is in such an amazing location. A short drive from lots of the main towns and villages, but in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. A great place to escape to and unwind. Everything in the cottage has been thought about and is very clean. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Because of the gorgeous remoteness, it took us some time to locate the entrance gate, but then we entered heaven. The place is captivating in so many ways - the historic stone structure, the entrancing views, the homey & artistic decor. It was like visiting a friend and being welcomed into a warm family retreat. Prepare to cocoon as there is no nearby store and few restaurant options. The roads were in poor condition due to recent severe storms, so it was an adventure to make our way in the evening to Castellina for dinner and back . The road in the opposite direction toward Radda was completely closed! But I loved our short stay and will dream of returning.

We loved every second of our stay in La Cetina! Best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had by far! We would recommend to anyone looking to have a beautiful and peaceful stay in Tuscany. We stayed 6 nights but wished we could have stayed longer!

The four of us with a dog were able to spend very nice days in this cozy house with the wonderful garden. Paolo and Lidia are very nice and accommodating hosts. We got a lot of good information about the garden and the surrounding area. Thanks again for that. There is a lot to discover in the area (beaches, lake, beautiful villages...). But we also spent very nice hours in the garden and at the pretty pool. Very relaxing!

We had a great time at Antonello's place. He is very welcoming, despite the fact that he only speaks Italian, and German, if I'm not mistaken. It was very understandable that we were arriving earlier than the scheduled time. We were able to drop off our luggage and the food we brought from our previous home. When we returned, we were pleasantly surprised to see that he had transferred everything to our rental and even put our bottles in the fridge🤩. The pool is superb, at very good temperature, and the sunbeds available, are comfortable, there is even a shower, which is very good. You can eat outdoors, in the shade, there are different spaces at your disposal. In summary, we can say that we had a great stay, in a beautiful environment, quiet, tastefully furnished. You have to plan to come by car, if you want to visit....

The cottage is lovely, well-equipped, everything in the photos. Comfortable beds. Clean. Great garden, beautiful birds sing, you can really relax, sun loungers, gazebo. Very quiet neighborhood. The only downside - bikes are not suitable for use… I would love to go back! Definitely worth recommending.

A fabulous place in an amazing location. We sat in the garden everyday for breakfast looking at the beautiful views of Tuscany and San Gimignano. Marco was very helpful when we needed to contact him. The kitchen has all you need for 2 people if you want cook, but doesn’t have an oven just a combi microwave. Fridge Freezer was great for wine beer ice etc with plenty of space. Bathroom and shower also very good!

Concetta is the most lovely host! And the house provided everything we needed. Beautiful, remote area! Would gladly return.

We have been using Airbnb for approximately 15 years all over the world and this was without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We immediately felt so relaxed and at home here. The view from the property is stunning - it was like living in a beautiful picture! Seeing wild deer late at night and early in the morning was an unexpected delight. Panzano has some superb restaurants and is perfectly situated for exploring some of the best places Tuscany has to offer. Finally, Lucrezia was so, so lovely - a completely charming host! We are coming again next year and cannot wait!

I had a wonderful time at Sara's place! The place was not only super clean and cozy, but also had that certain something. You immediately notice that it was decorated here with a lot of love for detail. The location was fantastic, perfect for unwinding and enjoying. A very special highlight was Sara's two dogs – incredibly friendly and lovable, they made the stay even more beautiful.

Sabrina has made a little paradise here! The cottage is very tastefully and lovingly decorated and there is everything you need. The complex in and of itself is wonderfully embedded in the landscape with a typical flora and fauna as well as a wonderful view! The infinity pool with its soft water is unique! Sabrina is a very gracious host - always available - with good tips for the region - but not intrusive at all! We enjoyed the time very much and will be back!
