Lake house vacation rentals in Folkestone

We had a short but wonderful stay, during the half term break. There was so much to do in the local area for the kids, with a good park just at the end of the road as well. We always drove, and the town centre was less than five mins away. Same as the beachfront with all the amusements, restaurants, and Adventure Island which was perfect for the kids. The house itself was very good, with parking. Very spacious with lounge, dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. I also managed to get some work done in the "study area" too. All round a good stay.

I moved to London from a country in south Asia. Everything is almost different here from where I lived. Before moving to my rented place, I booked this room for my stay at London for 12 days. I was kinda skeptical specially because I did the booking in a hurry. But, Charmaine with her hospitality changed my views in a 180-degree angle. During my stay there, I fell sick and I was so upset about it as I don’t know anyone in London. But, she helped me recover.She even went out of her way and helped me move in to my place. With doing this, she showed the motherly affection and hospitality that she carries within her. She is a natural hostess. In short, if it wasn’t for her, my move to this buzzy city would not be as smooth as it is now. I can’t say for everyone, but being a solo traveler as a woman, one should feel the luckiest if they get this place in London.

Amazing location just behind a sand dune off amber beach. Perfect place to stay with kids, lots of games and activities if it’s raining and the beach for when it’s not! Great and clean facilities - everything you could need for an escape to the seaside!

Beautiful house in a stunning location with the large airy living room opening up to the lake. 10-15 min drive to Margate, and good location to easily access other areas of Kent. Moya was very helpful and responsive.

Thanks Hannah we had small 5 small children 2 dogs and 10 adults. Perfect sized bedrooms and living space. Kitchen a little cosy but we managed 🤣🤣. Close enough to beach and town to walk plus huge park opposite. thankyou for a perfect weekend.

Great stay in the house under the pine trees. Stephanie has very good communication, very fluid. The house is very clean, tidy and in a quiet environment. A full floor with lots of games and books etc for children. The proximity to the beach and the city center is really nice. The whole family loved it and even the dog was thrilled. We tested it out of season (February) but will probably test it on milder days to enjoy the sea….

A beautiful cottage full of character, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The surroundings are quiet and calming, making it an ideal spot to unwind and recharge. Karen is a wonderful host, warm, responsive and accommodating.

Kevin's place was as described and conveniently located. The bedrooms with ensuite were a plus. Kevin responded to any queries promptly. Will definitely stay there again.

Loved the cottage, beautiful and huge jacuzzi , the tennis court was the best part and the scenery is absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Great location near an easy motorway connection, large supermarket, scenic walking route and kids park. Communication was excellent, and Lydia was flexible about the dates of our stay. Recommend highly.

Great stay, near to good bus routes and walkable to Leyton undergrund station. House looks like the pictures and Adnan is responsive for questions and queries. Would choose this house again if coming back to London.

While the outside might look plain, don’t let that fool you. The moment you walk in you’ll realize that this is one of the nicest, coziest airbnbs you’ll find. They have everything you need, it’s all super high quality, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Could not recommend more highly.

We had a lovely weekend in Condette. Christian was very nice and very welcoming. The cottage is ideally located: between Cap Gris Nose, Boulogne sur mer, Berck and the Kite festival, Authie Bay, Hardelot Castle, Nausicaa and the marsh trail, there are many outings. The cottage is true to the photos and description given, no surprises. Sheets ,and towels are provided. The accommodation is quiet and friendly in a peaceful residence. We highly recommend this property.

Vaida's place was as described. It was very clean, well furnished and quiet. Check-in was a breeze. Vaida was very responsive and turned around any request for assistance very quickly.. We felt right at home. The house is close to the Excel and London City Airport. I will stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.
