Townhome vacation rentals in Folkestone & Hythe District

This is our second visit to Kish & Fiona's lovely home in Margate and it was just as great this time as it was originally. Kish & Fiona were a great help when we were running late for our arrival and shopping delivery for the weekend, they arranged for their cleaner to be at the property for us which was such a lovely thing to do. We will definitely be back next time we go to Margate.

Lovely large house, spotless and 1 minute walk from the seafront. Absolutely perfect and would definately recommend.

We had a Great stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, tidy, as detailed and was in an ideal location. Liz & Andrew were great hosts, returned communications promptly and always very helpful. We will book this accommodation again on the next visit to Rye, if available. Highly recommended

We had a great time. Perfect location for exploring Margate, everything in easy reach. Excellent set up for kids, my 3 year old loved playing with the dolls house.

This is a nice little place within walking distance of sea front, restaurants, Co-op just round the corner, so very convenient. Parking space is a real bonus. We have a Renault Capture and that was no problem to park. A much larger car might not be so easy. We really liked how quiet it was at night. Netflix was another bonus. All in all happy :-)

Abigail’s place is charming, full of character and located in a very peaceful street. We felt at home straight away with a lovely bright, well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed and coffee machine. It was close to the seafront and also the beating heart of Ramsgate with a Waitrose just around the corner - you couldn’t ask for a better spot. We loved our visit to Ramsgate and would definitely stay at Abigail’s lovely home again. Thank you!

A really homely place with a beautiful two layered garden and a relaxing water feature.

Gorgeous cottage, in a fan location, close to everything. Easy to park, spotless, comfy beds, lovely little garden. We would highly recommend.

Delphine and Nicolas's home is unique and super local to everything you need whilst having free parking on the street. Walking distance to Saturday marche, lots of places to visit and do - Nausicaa, jardins, walled city - remnants etc. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Lovely house right in the centre of lewes with the added bonus of a parking space. If you are coming in more than one car then It is also easy to park in the nearby car park which is free overnight and reasonable during the day. It’s a short walk to a range of restaurants and cafes. Easy access to the downs and the seaside. Rachel is the perfect host.

Had a lovely stay in Fi’s place. The house is perfectly located for easy walking distance to everything Margate has to offer. The house is decorated beautifully but still a space we could feel comfortable with three children under 8. The kitchen was well equipped for any cooking we wanted to do, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks!

Zanzibar is an amazing house. It has a great vibe about it and the location is just perfect 👌 The house has everything you need, including a very well stocked kitchen. We were a family of 16 and the space was ample. The town is within walking distance which gives you everything you need for a wonderful stay cation. Opposite the house under the promenade is a hatch that sells fabulous coffee! The host Max was on hand with every question and was there to greet us. Along with a delicious homemade Victoria sponge! Would highly recommend Max and Zanzibar. Thank you 😊

Lovely cottage for our family of 5. Very nice garden overlooking the sea where the children could play, well-equipped kitchen and excellent bathroom. Pleasant spacious bedroom for us and for the children a nice bedroom with toys. Practically next to the bakery (big plus!) and diagonally opposite a charcuterie, Carrefour express a few minutes' walk away. Close to the beach, where the children could play wonderfully (a waterfall comes out on the beach, which makes playing with sand extra fun). At low tide, you can walk a long way along the beach. Beautiful hiking trail along the coast over the cliffs. Nice excursions possible to boulogne sur mer (including aquarium and street art), castle 10 min drive (was closed so not able to look inside) beautiful town Wimereux (north direction) and 50 min drive seal spotting. Large supermarket in Outreau. Recommended!

Very nice townhouse, completely refurbished. Small rooms, but spaceful livingrooms and kitchen. The communication with Claire was very easy.

We had a super stay at Julie's home for our family gathering. Extremely comfortable and lots of small details that made everyone feel at home. Great location, everything within walking distance and Julie gave us lots of helpful tips and recommendations. Add to this comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen, what more could we ask, many thanks Julie !

The house is very beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. The terrace in the back is very nice. 5-minute walk to the beach. Close to Boulogne and its Cité de la Mer. We are delighted with our stay.

The house is perfect for a weekend away with friends to catch up for a chilled weekend out of the city. There’s really nice local restaurants and wine bars in st Leonards within a 10 minute walk, and Hastings is a nice beachfront 45 min walk away. I’d recommend this house for anyone looking for a chilled weekend away with friends! One thing to note for anyone looking to hire this place (not a bad thing) - one of our party recently got engaged so we blew up some balloons for a champagne toast one night. We were a very chilled bunch and stayed out of the house most of the time, but the host did try and charge us £150 for the few deflated balloons we accidentally left in the downstairs bathroom. We did a thorough clean and stuck very closely to the rules of this property, but I would not recommend this house if you are wanting to have parties or spend lots of time in the house. I would only recommend if you are using the house as a place to chill together and explore the local area!

Had a lovely stay at Julian's cottage in Whitstable. Julian was great - very clear instructions on how to let ourselves in and very responsive to our questions.

We had a wonderful week. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the secluded garden, where it was easy to relax. The dinning area is a great space to share time as a family. We loved the marina and its restaurants around the corner, whilst it was beautifully quiet. The house offers everything you can wish for and we hope to be back. We highly recommend the place for a stay. Taryn’s communication was excellent - thank you!

We have stayed in quite a few home through AirB&B, and Rob cottage is a stand out place to stay. The cottage is as described, well decorated and every amenity you could want. It is so central you can access all of Canterbury from here. Nice pub at the end of the street, bonus. Rob was super attentive and responded to all our messages in no time. He arranged the parking and also laid on a really nice welcome pack. I can not recommend Rob’s cottage enough and would have no hesitation in staying here again. Thanks Rob, nice touch with the typewriter, Tom Hanks would be proud. I got Diane to type a reply..😀 Thanks so much for a great stay. All the best Scot and Diane.

Had an amazing stay with my family at Captain’s house. It feels like a real experience, very old worldly and grand. Super lovely hosts who were clear with their instructions, and it was all just easy and pleasant.

Had a brilliant 2 day stay at this lovely house. The house was walkable to everything in Deal yet in a really quiet spot, it was perfect. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped and just felt like 'home'. You can tell that someone has lived here, it has a lot of character. Particularly loved all the toys and games which kept my kids endlessly amused. Recommend bringing a Firestick or Chromestick if you want to watch on demand TV as the TV isn't the newest. But, with so many games and books in the house maybe you don't need the TV? Thanks to Bev and Soph for a lovely stay.
