House vacation rentals in Fiorano Modenese

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

The apartment is small but very pleasant and comfortable because the space has been perfectly used with predominantly wooden furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped and the cookware is new and plentiful, which is rare in accommodations! The courtyard in front of the front door is not great, while the balcony of the room enjoys a beautiful open view of the mountains. Roberto is very helpful. We just had to clarify a small issue regarding the cost of cleaning that was not indicated in the listing, but it was resolved quickly. I highly recommend this place.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lara is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surrounding area and the space around the house are fantastic. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets while dining right by the pool will remain unforgettable to us. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but superbly located. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great week, in absolute tranquility with breathtaking views. The place is very nice - there is everything you need. The garden is beautifully landscaped and offers seating. The pool is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we could only use it 2x due to the weather. The view from the pool area is fantastic, unwind and enjoy. There are good restaurants nearby, a recommendation was in the apartment. The distance to the sea/towns is good despite the quiet location.

We loved the AirB&B, Raphael responded promptly to all our questions, and Laura, the manager was GREAT upon our arrival, and even when we contacted her, she was always VERY PLEASANT and genuinely helpful.

We stayed with a group of friends at the house and had a great stay. Marjolein was very kind, always reachable and also provided a list with recommendations for the surroundings. The house was well equipped and the view from the house was outstanding. We are very thankful for the great time we had at Marjoleins beautiful place and can definitely recommend it.

We stayed on the bridge on June 2nd, we had a great time, very friendly and kind person, the Garfagnana is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back soon

Beautiful garden, with great facilities including a lovely and stunning views from the hills of Emilia Romagna. The kitchen is bright and we-equipped. The house generally is charming - welcoming and wonderfully decorated with lemon motifs everywhere. Miriam was welcoming and communicated in great time. And the cat is a sweetheart. Highly recommended to families and larger groups.

Very clean, quiet and pleasant house. The parking spot is super convenient. We appreciated the provision of breakfast food. Highly recommended!

It was a really nice stay. The apartment is perfect for one person or even a couple. I liked that it was really close to the train station. There is a new part in front and Bologna is a really walkable city so moving was not a problem. I really recommend stay here and I wish to came back in the future!

We were (2 pairs of adults) from April 24 to 27 guests of Anna Maria. Very nice house, as described, in the countryside near Felino. It is located on a small hill surrounded by greenery. It's close to Felino but you always need to take the car to get around. Nearby there are various supermarkets and excellent restaurants (I recommend the Culatelleria in Sanguinaro) Excellent as a starting point to visit the surroundings (we saw Parma, Fontanellato, Sala Baganza, Torrechiara Castle). It was a nice stay. Host available and friendly.

Hidden gem - I wish we would’ve planned a longer stay!!! Such a great Italian cabin in the woods, offering peace and calm and the healing power of nature. Every morning we awoke on our own - no traffic, a few birds, and the shutters kept the light out! We loved the old antique feeling of an updated WiFi home away from home.

Had a wonderful stay in Bologna! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the city. Paolo was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Her communication made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. A location immersed in the countryside with a huge garden, ideal for children. The house had all the amenities and we had a great time. Great location, only 18 km from Bologna. Tiziana is very kind and always available. Recommended!

This apartment takes you back to medieval times and you to the past and I beautiful animatic setting. The balcony overlooking the circular river is amazing. The mountains and clouds provide a moody setting that changes with every passing cloud. The resident duck can be seen feeding as you soak up the sun. The apartment is rustic with a modern bathroom, and the kitchen is stocked with welcoming snacks, wine, and coffee. Overall, our stay gave us a lasting impression, our timeless tradition and lifestyle.

Beautiful place surrounded by nature. Huge and very clean house with well-maintained outdoor spaces and comfortable interiors, nothing was missing. The host Gianna is fantastic, she did more than her duty. Very helpful and very kind. Thanks to her, we were able to make a child happy by being together. Thank you Gianna for everything.

Just 15 minutes for the train station walk in a lovely location which was so quiet even during the Coppa Italia winning night for Bologna FC. Very clean and spacious for a family of 2+2. Incudes all necessary equipment for a family to focus on holidays. Definitely a place to recommend and come back!

We had an excellent stay! The accommodation is in great condition, very clean and well-maintained. The house has been restored beautifully and is a very peaceful location, perfect for a few nights after being busy in Milan and before we head to Pisa. Bed very comfortable, all v clean and new bathrooms. Great communication with Luca. Would recommend if you want a bit of R and R, although there is Castiglione deli Popoli down the road for restaurants and bars (10 min drive)

We stayed for 2 days at Silvias lovely house and wish we could have stayed for longer. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need for a special stay. Everything was SUPER clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in (and is huge!). Silvia and her husband are really thoughtful, friendly and helpful, with lots of suggestions for the area. Good walks and cycle routes from the door. There is a small pottery nearby where the ceramicist will provide private lessons, and of course there are lots of opportunities to buy prosciutto and parmigiano reggiano! This was a wonderful, relaxing stay and we highly, highly recommend Silvias house. thank you Silvia and Joris xx
