Monthly Rentals in Finkenstein am Faaker See

A very nice place located next to the River Drau and surrounded by mountains. Ideal for walking and cycling. From the edge of the village, it’s just a 5-minute walk to open fields and another 10 minutes to reach the nearby forest. Deer often wander through the neighboring meadow—we saw up to six during one walk! Villach is less than 10 minutes away by car, with no traffic jams at any time. Italy and Slovenia are both under 30 minutes away, offering plenty of places to explore. The apartment is well-equipped with a variety of cleaning and cooking tools. The owner is friendly and very supportive.

We were very pleased with the accommodations, communications, space, and price. We would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an outdoors adventure. We appreciated the pleasant surprise of having the thermal spa so close (10 min walk). We were surprised with how far from the city center it was which made dinner and groceries a challenge on the first night. The bus line is very convenient from this location however, so over coming this limitation was not a problem the other days of our stay. This place is a solid recommend.

Our stay at Renate's was wonderful!! Everything was as described and just right for our family of 4. Renate lives right next door and was always helpful and always happy to help. The apartment is very quietly located, you have a very nice view of the mountain landscape and it is a wonderful starting point for activities of any kind (hiking, mountain bike/bicycle, swimming, etc.). We would love to come back any time!
