Nice and cozy house, very pleasant atmosphere, quiet area among the cows, carefully furnished cottage.

Loved that there were all the amenities we needed. Place felt very homey - worth the price we paid for.

Maria's place was fantastic - Ana was so helpful at check-in and gave wonderful recommendations for the island. The house itself was incredibly charming, and the real star was the backyard garden and natural pools. Lagoa was also a great place to stay if you have a rental car, as you can get to either side of the island pretty easily. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Riberia Grande staying at this perfect home. The home is spacious, modern and spotless. There were only 2 of us, but the unit can accomodate 4 (or more, there may be a pull out sofa). There are 2 full bathrooms, tons of closet space and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and eating meals at home. We had breakfast at home so only used the fridge, coffee maker and teapot along with dishes and glasses. Everything was very clear, and Joe was extremely quick to respond, even helping us with making reservations. Joe provided a helpful list of suggested places to visit. I am so happy we chose to stay in Riberia Grande, as it was easy to get everywhere on any end of the island. Joe also provided the name of a car rental which for a small fee met us at the airport when our flight arrived, and dropped us off for departure. The location is literally a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach!

“Compact” apartment but it has everything one needs and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, excellent Internet connection! Beautiful view of the city (south and east). The hosts were reactive and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood (and a quiet building) with a parking lot across the street. It is a walking distance to the city centre (shops and restaurants) and also to a larger shopping centre. I had a very pleasant stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place! The view is spectacular and the space is very cute and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outdoor space is private and perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. We’d recommend parking in the designated parking areas up the street which usually had space available. The location is perfect for touring the island with a rental car which we would recommend. However, there are many tour companies on the island if you’d prefer not to drive. We were there for a week and kept busy every day but were happy to return every night to such a peaceful place and enjoyed walking around the village. We happened to be there during one of the largest religious processions on the island so it was interesting to see this tradition. We would highly recommend Maria’s place, but do note, as shown in her photos, that access to the bedroom and outdoor space is by a fairly steep but sturdy ladder.

I can’t say enough positive things about the stay I had, everyone that worked with Monica made me feel like family, anything I needed I sent them a message and they responded immediately and took care of it all. They brought fresh breakfast every morning with juice and milk, and asked every night what time I needed it and if it was going to be an early morning, they put it out the night before for me. The marina is private, the boat is completely safe, spacious, clean and one of a kind. There are restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, shops and really anything yoy need within a 10 minute walk. I will definitely be back and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

The cottage is in a very quiet place. If you love country life, it's the best for you! In the morning there is roosters crow, dogs bark, and cats are waiting in front of your door. The view from this place is fantastic. The garden is also wuonderful, but we couldn't use it because of the changeable weather. Thank you for our unforgettable stay!
