This place was exactly what we were looking for…. A romantic getaway close to our home was the perfect escape… we found a new restaurant close by and made the best of our stay. We will definitely be back

Our family is truly grateful to Ms Betty for allowing us to stay at her magnificent, secluded home. We were captivated by its beauty from the moment we arrived. After settling in, Jerry took us on a tour of the property, and his passion for the land shone through as he shared its history and pointed out various highlights. Our adventure began with a thrilling pond-hopping excursion to explore the stocked ponds on the property. To our delight, within the first hour, my wife caught an impressive 6.44-pound bass—a memory we’ll cherish forever! We fished until dark and later gathered around the cozy fire pit for s’mores. One of the trip’s most memorable moments was feeding the horses some carrots we picked up at the local grocery store. The cows were beautiful as well. Our entire family enjoyed every aspect of this delightful getaway. Once again, our sincere thanks to Ms Betty for her warm hospitality. We can’t wait to return to this peaceful haven in the future!"

It was a great stay at your cabin. Wish could of enjoyed more but was a work trip. Wanted to let you know that the grill was about to catch fire when I lighted it. You need to check and see what is going on with the grill. Planning to come back again this week and tried to book again but already booked. We look forward to staying there again in the future to be able to enjoy pond and down time.

We had a wonderful stay! We were there for my youngest daughter who turned one yesterday! Perfect place to stay that was close to my in laws so we could have a party for her at a local park. Melissa was very kind to help us with a small change in our stay due to unfortunate circumstances. My wife is already making plans to stay again in the near future.

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. My family and I love this place. This was our second time booking. The scenery and privacy is amazing. Perfect location for us to stay close to family who live in the area. We will 100% be visiting again. Harriette makes everything simple for check-in and check-out. Highly recommended. Get the real feel of peace and tranquility in a cozy cabin while only being minutes from town. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful property. Beautifully done restoration. Very quiet and peaceful setting, but within minutes to downtown Durham. Josh was quick to respond, and the property matched the pictures. The yard was a perfect addition for our furry family member. Would definitely stay there again.

OUTSTANDING!!! I would live there if I could! Liz was VERY responsive within 5 min max while I was there. The home itself is so cute, clean, comfortable and the area is quiet. I had everything I needed and all of the instructions were very detailed and easily understood. The first night it rained and the sound on the roof could of put me to sleep. The outside fenced in area was comfortable and if I had of brought my pet it would of been enough room for him to play and do his business. This is by far my favorite place and host!! Thank you Liz!!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay this is where to go. My boyfriend and I stayed for his birthday and we’re already looking for when to come back. There’s a nice fireplace to sit at and make some smores (there was firewood already there as well), a sauna to sit and relax in after going on trails, fishing poles were provided, and if you’re into cooking Anne had everything you need to make a great meal. We also have a puppy and i appreciated that pets were welcome he loved his stay too:)

We had the nicest stay at the Cozy Cabin! We were in Raleigh for our daughter’s wedding and it was our home away from home for the week. It was bright and clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. Very centrally located to everything we needed to do in preparation for the wedding. The home itself is very well-maintained. The yard was huge and fully fenced, and it was such a plus that our dogs were permitted. The kitchen and baths were spacious and immaculate. The beds and linens were clean and comfy. Bonus points for plenty of parking. We will definitely book again when we are in Raleigh!
