Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Family accommodation for 4 people max and dog

I do not rent a house or a complete apartment. The guest area is on the first floor of my house; In which I live in the ground floor. Depending on the size of the group, I combine single, index bed and triple rooms. There is a bathroom on the floor for all guests. On request, and only then, my guests can also use my kitchen. However, there is no claim. In any case, I continue to use my kitchen in time.

Located along the water in Kiel-Windeweer you can find the perfect spot to completely relax. Inside the farmhouse there is a luxurious apartment with everything you need. It has its own private entrance, a private terrace and a place for you to sit along the water so you can enjoy the peace this monumental village brings you. Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .

Characteristic back house- Spacious and comfort!

Our cozy, characteristic rear house with an area of no less than 120 m2 is part of a thatched residential farm from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a marvellous large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a beautiful view over the meadows behind.

Our apartment on the edge of Westerwolde near the woods. Emmen,Exloo, Stadskanaal, Sellingen and Bourtange are nearby. i make sure that there are recent leaflets and information about activities, outings and events be present from the surroundings!
