Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect way to spend a night in Te Anau. The home was spacious, clean, comfortable and extremely cosy. Would have loved to stay longer, so many options of games for a quiet night in, and walkable to dinner options. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The views are awesome and the place was clean and tidy.

Nice house conveniently located near the lake and at walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Te Anau. We liked the huge green park opposite the house where we played rugby with our sons! Wendy is friendly and helpful to give advices and make your stay going very smoothly! It is the proper place to stay and relax before and/or after the trip to the Milford Sounds.

A heated spa pool is situated on a wooden deck, inviting relaxation in a sunny outdoor space. Lush greenery surrounds the well-maintained lawn, with a clothesline visible in the background. The brick home is partially visible, with large glass doors leading to the interior.

Had a great time. Lots of space and good living area to hang out. Kitchen was great and it was great having a few bathrooms with our family group.
