Bungalow vacation rentals in East Dorset District

A lovely place with an amazing view of the Solent. One afternoon we just spent with the doors open in the sunshine watching the boats come in and out. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed to cook the meals, and everything was clean throughout. A really nice break, and would absolutely recommend.

Great peaceful location. Didn't realise it was a static home but it was really nicely done out. Huge TV with Netflix (kids super happy in the evening!) Communication was great and The Boathouse restaurant which was a few minutes walk away was so great. Lovely location and great food. Really well placed for exploring the local area and gorgeous beaches.

We had such a lovely stay at Linda’s place! Even before the trip, communication was super quick, friendly, and accommodating. Linda went out of her way to answer all our questions and offer tips for the area—and kindly offered us an early check-in, which was really appreciated. The welcome goodies (and the cute stickers for the boys!) were such a thoughtful touch. The bungalow itself was perfect for our trip—comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We even met Linda’s partner Keith on the way out, who was just as lovely—really friendly and chatty. Thank you, Linda, for a wonderful stay. Would absolutely recommend!

Had a fabulous stay at Greycot. Great quiet location with good parking. Short walk from restaurants and beach/harbour. Dan was an excellent host - very helpful and personable. We had a couple of minor issues which were rectified straight away. Would certainly return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Perfect base to visit Bridport, Weymouth, Bennetts Water Gardens, Abbotsbury Swannery, Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth, Athelhampton House and Lyme Regis! Can thoroughly recommend S&K Fish and Chips and Rise.

We had a great time on the Island visiting all the places we went to when we visited the Island many years ago with our boys. Accommodation was very clean and tidy and very peaceful whilst we were there. Luckily the sun shone every day.

We had a great holiday! We have stayed on the site several times before because we love the location and the bay so much and this is the nicest chalet we have stayed in so far. Great host, lovely decor, free of clutter but had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Below Decks was a fantastic location for our first visit to Swanage - couldn't have been more centrally located right on the sea front. All restaurants and attractions were within easy walking distance. The house itself was beautifully compact yet plenty large enough inside with all amenities needed for a perfect stay. Very homely and having a car parking space was brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend.

This was our second visit and we are really hoping for a third next year! The hot tub is heaven before and after a day exploring the local area. The kitchen is so well equipped! And it’s a lovely quiet area even with Aldi opposite (absolute blessing when visiting with day small people!) Thanks again

Short little family stay and this was the perfect place for us. Quiet, spacious and beautiful! And Lorna even left us a little local milk which was a lovely gesture. My only regret is that I didn’t have time to leave a note in the guest book and that we had so little time there.

we spent one night at The Nautilus. The place was clean, easy to access, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the decoration very nice.

We had a great time at Kim’s place when we were going to a wedding nearby. She kindly let us in early to be able to change for the wedding which we really appreciated. The bungalow was beautiful and had a lovely garden. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Barton on Sea with Natalie. The Bungalow was in the perfect location for the seaside, the New Forest and the must see places in the area. Also extremely comfortable if we wanted to stay in with great attention for all our needs, barbecue, several seating areas,cushions, fire. All of Natalie’s recommendations and top tips were fabulous. Natalie was quick to respond to any communication and was extremely kind and thoughtful Thank you

I chose to stay at Sam’s place for a team building weekend with work colleagues. It worked perfectly for what we needed. The bungalow was clean, warm and we felt right at home with the cosy lounge. We used it as our base camp as we spent the weekend hiking. It was just as advertised online. Would happily book again!

Jill & Steve, are great hosts. What a perfect place to relax & put your feet up. The accommodation is all on one level which was great for my 89 year old parents, the grounds were fab wonderful for my Labradoodle who had so much fun running after the ball in all that space 👍🏼 There are 2 places that adjoin so if you are a party of 8 this place would be great. However we were 3 & it was just great for us. Just what we needed. Thanks again Jill & Steve 😉

Mimram is a very comfortable and cosy property with all the facilities a family needs including a nice welcoming pack from Yvonne. It is fully equipped for a family to enjoy the property. We are a multigenerational family who all enjoyed our stay at Mimram, so much so that we have already booked our next stay.
