Isobel was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations. She has a beautiful home that is perfectly located for the beach and country park with all the activities that each offer. We couldn’t have hoped for a more home from home Airbnb and the friendly, down to earth local pub at the end of road was perfect. We cannot recommend Isobel and he lovely home highly enough.

We stayed here for my best friends hen do! We had such a lovely time! Beautiful place and as described. Lovely decor and felt very comfy and homey! It is In the middle of a busy city and is placed opposite a popular pub so a bit loud at night time but no fault of the owner! Thankyou for everything 😊

We stayed at the Old Red Lion for a few days while attending a family wedding at the nearby Larmer Tree Gardens. The house was absolute perfect for us (a group of 8 adults) - very well located, spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed and more! We particularly loved the charming interiors. Hilary was a great host, we really appreciated the proactive communications and helpful instructions. Thanks so much for having us!

This is our second visit for a girls weekend away to Xian and Ross' place in Portland, and it didn't disappoint. We will definately be back again!!!! The house is really spacious. There were 9 of us in total and we didn't feel on top of each other. The house is in a great location, just a short walk from a lovely pub or the harbour which has some nice shops. It is also a short drive from Weymouth. With the pub though if you want to eat, you need to book as it gets really busy. The bedrooms at the house are lovely. really nicely decorated and the beds are really comfy. We did have a couple of issue when we were there, but Xian and Ross were really responsive. and we would like to thank them for that.

A lovely place to stay, in walking distance of the beach and Weymouth centre. Hot tub and other facilities were very good and the place was clean, stylishly furnished and comfortable. Host was responsive when we had an issue (many thanks to Lorraine the cleaner too who was lovely and very helpful!)

We had a fantastic stay at Annie’s lovely flat; it couldn’t have been more perfect! It was spotless & had lovely extras like tea, coffee & biscuits, and nice shampoo etc in the bathrooms. The beds were SO comfortable & there was enough space in the main bedroom to put a travel cot for our baby. Annie provided the travel cot & high chair for us, which was so helpful. There were also some great kids books & puzzles! It honestly felt like staying in a posh B&B. A real added bonus was that Annie had provided wash tablets for the washing machine so we didn’t have to buy a whole pack & could use the washing machine straight away when we needed it - genius. The location of the flat is amazing for Weymouth harbour, & our little boy loved being able to watch the famous town bridge going up & down from the lounge window every hour! We basically walked everywhere, it was fab. One thing to note is that you can hear the people staying upstairs when they walk about but it’s not too loud. Thank you!!

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved playing in the garden and nearby football field and walking to nearby Chesil Cove. The house was spotless and smelled really lovely too. Absolutely wonderful - we would definitely like to stay again.

If you're a large group then this is a great find. It's on the high street so great access to shops, pubs and restaurants, but also it's not too noisy. Beds are comfy and the showers are powerful - what more could you want!

A good base for exploring the area - so close to lovely countryside and pretty towns, especially Wells. Kate was very helpful.

Keith’s place was amazing. Nothing bad to say about the house at all. Easily walkable into town and lots of places to eat and drink. Parking was a bit of a mission as permits outside, there was free parking up the hill if you could get a space. Would really recommend staying here for a break away. Keith was always responsive when I reached out to him and was a perfect host

Came for a girls weekend, the property was in great location for the beach, bar's & restaurants and was spotless. Ian was really responsive to our queries prior to our stay & was able to make some great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

A great two up two down in uphill Bideford but only a few minutes from the restaurants. Hand long stay car park close by

Perfect for a short break away. Worth noting that the pub at the end of the road is noisy at closing time, and had a band playing late one night, but this didn't cause us any major problems. And parking everywhere in Portland is a nightmare! Neither are a reflection on William's well-kept and fully-equipped house.

We have had a lovely stay, the home was exactly as described and we really appreciated the little extras, especially the doggy welcome pack! Great communication and recommendations for the local area. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing little break. Would 100% recommend.

I would like to say that the house was very very clean and the linen was spotless. Bridget has attention to detail; the kitchen is stocked with essentials such as sugar, tea and the fridge also had a bottle of milk and water (very useful if one arrives late) not forgetting the little packets of biscoff; the bathroom stocked with shampoo, soap etc just like a hotel. She combines a hotel feel with a home feel very well. My son made an online order and items arrived after we had left and she went out of her way to resend it. Quick response to any issue, for example the boiler stopped working and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Very nice. We would come back

We had a lovely stay at Gerard's place. It's well equipped, clean and comfortable and has plenty of things available to make it easy to travel with small kids without having to pack it all yourself (cot, highchair, plates, cutlery, games etc). Gerard was easy to contact and is very responsive. The house is really well located, easy to get to and it's in a quiet area. Plenty to do in and around Weymouth.

Delia's place is very beautifully designed and kept, it's spotless clean and has everything we needed. The beds are very comfortbale and it's great that it has 2 bathrooms, or rather toilets. The place is in a great location with a quiet neighborhood, has free parking on streets and is within just a few minutes walking distance to Glastonbury's highstreet. Delia is a very kind, caring and responsive host. Definitely recommend it!

One of the reasons to stay in Airbnb properties is to sample life like a local, this property gives you that sense. A great location and lovely house on a really iconic street. We had a great weekend in a gorgeous city, complimented by a comfortable stay.
