Vacation rentals in Dunkirk

This is the 3rd year running we have stayed at the Old Bicycle Shop in the autumn for a short break. Jinny is an excellent hostess. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful, restful break. Note. Lack of street lighting in the village, take a torch. Although Jinny had supplied a torch on the coat stand in the hall this visit. We will return in 2025.

Most beautiful Coach House renovation. With character and all mod cons. The location was private on the grounds of the manor house. Very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed a modern log burner as well as under floor heating. Everything we needed for a lovely breakfast basket as well as all the tea and coffee we could drink. I watched Great Tits and a pheasant feeding from the kitchen windows. My sister looked at the stars from a velux window whilst in bed and listened to an owl calling out in the dark of night. Wonderful experiences. We also visited the local pub for Sunday lunch and a farewell drink on Tuesday night. We enjoyed visiting the old town of Faversham and a little retail therapy in Ashford. Friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you. All in all just what we needed and more 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed our time at Sally's annexe immensely. She was very clear in her communication and offered great insights into the local area. Sally was friendly and proactive in meeting our needs. The annexe was cozy and comfortable. It's in beautiful surroundings and still close to Canterbury and other local attractions. We would recommend this stay!

Fantastic stay, stunningly designed little getaway sanctuary, the finishing touches were very well thought out. Everything you’d need for a weekend stay, a big thank you to Tracy & Nigel, they even provided Birthday candles (and a bottle of fizz & cupcakes) for my partner’s Birthday. Highly recommended!

Delightful place to stay. Warm and cosy. I want to go back in the summer so can enjoy peaceful quiet outdoor space. Miranda was a delightful host. Helpful, friendly and attentive. I loved staying there and want to go back.

With storm Bert raging outside, this beautiful home from home offered a cozy sanctuary away from the storm. Anita and Paul were exemplary hosts, we couldn't have asked for more. They were so welcoming and we instantly felt at home. The accommodation was immaculately clean and the attention to detail is sublime, with DVDs, games and all the utilities you could possibly need. The Cart Lodge is beautifully situated with stunning views and perfectly located for exploring the Kent countryside, and Canterbury is only 15 minutes drive away. We cannot recommend the Cart Lodge and Anita and Paul enough. We had the most wonderful weekend and we will certainly be staying again next time we are in Kent.

Beautiful stay. The place has everything we needed for a little escape away. Gorgeous views. Homemade apple juice and fresh eggs were a lovely touch. Perfect place for a getaway whilst still having access to hot water / gas and very thick and lush bedding. Thank you!

Very nice littel studio, really quite and good location. Everything you need is walkable. Katharine is a very nice and friendly host. Always reponse out question and request very quickly. Highly recommend, and would definitely rebook in the futurn.

We stayed in the Chalet for 3 nights and we loved the experience! - Host: Chris has a very good communication, always quick to reply. - Spot: It is perfect is you are looking for a peaceful place. Easy parking space, very close to the city center. Many stores for food shopping (but you need a car). - The Chalet: We absolutely loved it, so comfy and quiet, well decorated. All is as described. The place is very clean, the kitchen well equipped. And of course the view is wonderful, it is definitely a plus!! We would highly recommend staying there!
