We’ve had the best time. The barn is very beautiful surrounded but the most beautiful garden. The place was very idyllic for a weekend escape. The location is a short drive from Dungeness. Rye and Folkestone . The pool and hot tub were added bonus. Thank you so much for a wonderful break.

The Slopes, Whitstable

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay here. It was just the seaside break we needed. It is so close to the sea. The apartment has a lovely bedroom, a little hotel-style catering area and a very nice bathroom. The breakfast area allows you to look out onto the garden and you are sheltered from the road by flowers. The road was quiet. We were easily able to park on the sea front everyday and our stay was in April. We ate at the Marine Hotel one night, just along the front and walked into Whitstable for Turkish food another night. Both were good. What a lovely area!

Quirky boutique style home by the sea with hot tub

AgnesRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We have spent half term at Lisa’s place, the house is very spacious, located in quiet residential area, about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 25-30 from the town centre which was exactly what we wanted. Lovely large property for our group of 9, we love the gym and hot tub plus a basket of goodies on arrival was an unexpected touch. We had a great stay and was so lucky with the weather too, did lots of small trips with kids so train station nearly was very handy. Would definitely recommend it.

Gite Maquetra – 2-bedroom apartment

AntonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We felt very comfortable from the beginning and Marie Christine and Pierre are very warm, wonderful hosts. I wish I had more French knowledge :-) But thanks to the automatic translation through Airbnb messages, it was no problem to communicate. We also spent an afternoon in the garden and it was a wonderful holiday! I'm sure we'll be back sometime:-)

Apartment 2, 15 Eastern Esplanade

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The living room is the star of this apartment, with it lovely big windows with the stunning view of Stone Bay. The location is also nice and central for Broadstairs' amenities. The bedrooms are on the back so nice and quiet. The only slight negative is that it could do with a few upgrades, i.e. hallway needs a coat of paint, bathroom/kitchen could do with a bit of attention but overall a great place and good value.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It was immaculate throughout—spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. It had such a warm, homely feel that made it easy to settle in straight away. Every space was thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail really stood out. The little gifts left for us were such a kind and thoughtful touch, adding to the overall welcoming experience. Villa La Piscine**** in Wissant, Côte d'Opale

FrederickRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Very well located accommodation close to the beach and the city center. We had a lovely family weekend. The teenagers (and grandparents) were able to enjoy the pool which is very spacious and pleasant. The accommodation is very well-equipped and well-decorated. We were also able to enjoy the outdoor terrace and its barbecue. The whole family was happy with their stay, from the welcome by Frédérique with lots of very pleasant little touches and until the departure, where we were able to stay until Sunday afternoon. We recommend this listing which is ideal for a weekend with family and we will gladly come back.

Seaside Chalet – Sleeps 6 – Great Location

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

Calf Shed, fully accessible farm cottage with pool

SilviaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Plantagenet: A Historic Country Cottage with Pool

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful stay we had at the cottage. Fantastic location near Ashford, the grounds of the cottage are stunning, pool bigger than we thought and we were very lucky with the weather so could use it all 3 days. Of the amenities we used to great effect; - Pool - Garden - Especially for our black Lab - BBQ - Fire Place - Kitchen for full breakfast We would definitely stay again, host was super responsive, answered all our questions and we didn't want for anything. We were quite a decent sized group, 2 couples, 2 toddlers and a big Labrador, but could easily have another couple stay in the 3rd double room (that we didn't use). We also got an Ocado delivery to the cottage on our first evening and it was delivered no fuss. Great stay.. A+

Cottage with tennis court and pool

DannyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

The Lighthouse, Kent Coast.

JudyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Fisherman's Cot, Whitstable, Kent

VictoriaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wonderful stay in the grounds of such a beautiful garden. Walk to the beach and high street was 10 minutes and Frank was more than happy to show us the quick routes to do this. The accommodation had everything we needed for a short stay with our children (family of 5). We were happy to all be in one room (sleeping wise) and the children happily played in the very large garden. We enjoyed the tranquility of the spot and a morning cuppa on the decked area in the sun. It was extremely easy to walk into whitstable high street and the beach and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Thank you for a great last minute stay away.

Abigail’s place is charming, full of character and located in a very peaceful street. We felt at home straight away with a lovely bright, well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed and coffee machine. Country property near beaches with hot tub

PaulaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a beautiful property, surrounded by peaceful countryside and at the end of a country road so there was no passing traffic. A quintessential English period property, beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you need for a wonderful stay. Lisa was delightful, excellent communication and warm with her welcome. The beds were comfortable and everywhere clean and tidy. The barn also lovely and our extended family enjoyed staying there. The garden truly beautiful and in May after a warm start to the year so many flowers were in bloom, roses and wisteria around the front door and lilac along the pathway. Excellent seating on the terrace ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks, we just wish our time there was less frantic, would love to return and slow down to enjoy this perfect rental. Many thanks
