“Wooden cottage wasn't just a simple accommodation in Ella, but rather the highlight of our trip. It is perfectly located at 2 min from the center and train station by tuk-tuk and on the calm and serene side of the village. The pictures on the page do not serve justice to the BREATHTAKING view you're facing every morning till evening as you're served a delicious and rich breakfast by sunrise and can watch the sun set everyday while relaxing on the cottage. The rooms are sparkling clean and bed very comfy. Keep in mind that a fair amount of stairs seperates the road from the cottage. The host replies fast, and gives you all the info you need, don't forget to ask about bike rentals and tuk tuk services! Our stay there was nothing short from perfect and would totally visit again.”
“We stayed here for 3 days and loved the location. It's only a short walk down into town but it's so quiet here. The breakfasts they made were the best we had in our trip and we loved being able to sit outside our room in the afternoon after a days hiking. Would highly recommend!”
Lipton Seat Homestay is located in the middle of Tea platations and natur. To the city Haputale train station it's 3.7km to Lipton seat it's just 12km. Transport for sunrise is available. The accommodation has a own TukTuk. The homestay is located in a little village. You can enjoy here the real Sri Lankan family life. Very Tasty Sri Lankan Breakfast is included. Nice hiking Tours to the End of the wold (Horton Plains) and other nice mountain and nature placed around the area are available.
“This AirBnb is in an amazing location (the sunrise over the mountains is one of the best views we have had in Sri Lanka!), and offers some of the best Sri Lankan cooking we have had on our trip. The reason this place deserves 5-stars, though, is the sweet, wonderful family you get to stay with. The kids are such a joy to be around and the feeling of family life is something you can't get at a hostel.”
