Cabin vacation rentals in Dillon Lake

Beautiful place, I picked this as a short getaway for my husband’s birthday. We love hiking and fishing and all sorts - BUT I’m down with a broken leg right now LOL. We enjoyed the cozy, slowed down feel at the cabin, and sat around the fire at night, relaxed in the hot tub, and spent most of our days on the dock fishing and watching the beautiful koi fish!

This was the absolute perfect little spring break get away! We saw so many birds and deer! The cabin itself was so homey and peaceful, we absolutely adored it! We will definently be returning! Dan and Julie were super friendly and replied to our questions very quickly! 5 ⭐️

We rented for a girls weekend for Winterfest ❄️🐟!! It was a perfect location and a beautiful home!! Lots of space to hangout and comfortable accommodations for all of us!! Amber was very responsive to any questions we had!!

We loved our time at the Red Door Cabin. It was perfect for traveling with our family of 5, plus my parents. We spent the day hiking and loved playing games, hanging out on the dock, making smores, and watching movies in the evening. A great place to stay!

Wow I can not recommend this cabin enough! I wish I could give more then 5 stars. We had such a relaxing weekend! This is the best rental we have ever stayed. You will not find a better host! All the extra little details just make this the best. We loved everything I have nothing I would change. We can not wait to come back. Great area super close to town but you are still out in the peace and quiet. Great directions and really easy to find. Thank you so much for the wonderful getaway!!

This place was an amazing getaway for my family and the river was beautiful. We would love to go back during the summer.

We enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. The pond in the backyard was beautiful. We had a good time and there were excellent hikes nearby.

We had a great time exploring the Hocking Hills area, and Heather’s place was conveniently located among all of the best hikes. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and I would say it’s not just pet-friendly but “pet loving”. There was even a pet roller, dog bowl, doggie bags and sanitizer available in case we forgot our own. The location by the pond and access to the boats also provided a nice reprieve when the kids needed a break from hiking. My daughter even caught a large-mouth bass.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! We were impressed with how clean everything was, as well as all the kitchen amenities. We really enjoyed the grill, firepit, hot tub, and how close the cabin was to Hocking Hills State Park. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy nature!

Perfect cabin for a weekend get away with the girls! It was a short drive to Hocking Hills for some hiking and we enjoyed our time around the campfire making s’mores! We would love to visit again real soon!!

Pam was great! We had a blast so peaceful will definitely be back. The little walk in the back yard to the winery was perfect!

It was a quiet retreat for us city folk.

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. The jacuzzi and inside / outside fireplaces were a very nice experience. Not too far from Hocking Hills trails. It was a nice romantic get away!

We loved Ryan’s place. Beautiful inside and outside. Close to Hocking Hills hiking trails. A couple things to note. Bring your own towels for the hot tub if you don’t wasn’t to use the same towel after showering. Only one towel was provided per person for a 2-night stay. That being said, Ryan responded quickly each time I reached out to him. We never asked for extra towels b/c we didn’t mind using the same towel. I’m guessing we would have received more towels if it was a big enough issue for us. Also, if you want to utilize the charcoal grill, bring your own charcoal and matches. Again, we ended up just going out for dinner so it was not an issue for us. Chances are Ryan would have provided the items for the charcoal had we asked. All that being said, we would stay here again. It was a beautiful place and great location! Ryan responded promptly the few times I messaged him.

This was a great place to stay. Our host Kimberly was friendly and proactively made sure everything exceeded our expectations. Loved the quiet location, beautiful surroundings and friendly atmosphere. The cabin was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. You can tell from the pictures what a nice place it is; once there, you could really appreciate the thoughtful detail that went into construction and creation of such a great place; hand fitted wall panelling, custom walnut and maple stairs, designer bathroom, outdoor amenities, the list could go on and on. Thanks you Kimberly for making our vacation a one we will remember for years to come!

A peaceful getaway. Kitchen had everything we needed. Pictures and description set the right expectations. The outside space was lovely. Interior isn’t super fancy but good enough. Fire pit and hot tub let us enjoy the outside space and the woods around property were lovely. Nice and quiet. 20 mins to trails and lots of maps and brochures at the cabin to plan your stay. Directions Lynn provided were a lifesaver - we did lose gps but found it just fine thanks to instructions. WiFi worked for texts and streaming. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

Had a quiet romantic weekend with my wife and had the absolute best time. Airbnb is prepped with everything we could think of and forgot to think of. Close to Hocking Hills so we got some great hiking in and then came back and played some of the games that were there. We didn't bring the fur babies along with us this time but definitely would in the future, it's very much a puppy paradise. Didn't get a chance to use the fire pit or the hot tub but that was all available to us. Overall just a wonderful weekend <3

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had such a wonderful experience, and Margot & John are the most lovely, welcoming & kind people. They were so generous with their time and space, and it was a blessing to get to know them! We learned so much about farm life, and were so grateful for the opportunity to be hands-on with the farm chores. My daughter loved gathering eggs, feeding the chickens & caring for the goats. We loved Tibby the barn cat and Barron the horse. It was so fun watching Jim the border collie (the friendliest dog ever) herd the sheep and goats. The cabin is perfect - cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location is so peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the pastures. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit & admiring the stars was the perfect way to end an evening. Also close to the popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Rockhouse, etc) & 5 minutes from Lake Hope which has beautiful trails. Perfect trip for families. We can’t wait to go back!

Marjorie and John have made an incredibly comfortable guest space for people like us to enjoy. We were blessed the second we drove up to the place! The Farmhouse is even better than the photos! Everything is well thought out for guests and is fully stocked with just about everything you can possibly need. Wonderful amenities and the location is beautiful. My brother and sister in law and my husband and I will shout the praises of the Farmhouse from the rooftops! Thank you, Marjorie and John!

What a great anniversary get away! We stayed at Carla’s beautiful, rustic, octagon “cabin” equipped with everything we could possibly need. We loved that it is super dog friendly with as many thoughtful details for our “girls” as for us! Our pups loved it! There were even areas just for four legged friends on both levels. We enjoyed the hot tub and a wood burning stove on the chilly nights. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some! A few mornings we cooked breakfast on the griddle on the deck just outside the kitchen. The wrap around porch was amazing! So many sitting areas to enjoy the views. So peaceful! The bed was very comfortable and had a remote control to adjust the head and feet on each side. Carla was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We loved the privacy and close proximity to trails and restaurants. This place is a true gem in Hocking Hills!

Pam was a lovely host, and was quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with various seasonings and pots and pans. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while sitting under the covered porch. The cabin was located nearby several Hocking Hills attractions. We hope to return sometime soon!

If you’re looking to unplug or work without distractions, this is a great cabin to reserve. Simply a beautiful region in Ohio and Valley View cabin offers solace and easy access to unique rural communities and of course nature. Wonderful host who cares about their property and their guests.
