A wonderful stay while in Gran Marais. Such a cozy cabin with plenty of places to relax and socialize. They had everything you need for a stay and the lake access spot has a beautiful view! Also very responsive and helpful hosts. Would stay again.

Thank you Nathan for a relaxing, winter get away in your spotless, beautiful home. It had everything we needed and the area is a GORGEOUS backdrop for the many pictures we were able to take right from the deck; and surrounding areas. So warm, cozy, and quiet; comfy beds, lots of room to spread out, warm showers, big kitchen and the best view. The lake did not disappoint and we even had a lovely little snowfall and a full moon. A terrific, attentive, host in a perfect place. We would give 15 stars if we could and look forward to returning again someday!

Hawkweed House is darling—beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, close to town. We loved our stay and would love to come back in the summer to use the deck and fire pit!

This was our 5th year staying at this cozy cabin. It is one of our favorite cozy weekends of the year! Close enough to Grand Marais to enjoy the town and close enough up the gunflint to enjoy hikes, the poplar haus, hungry jack, and more. We’ll be back!
