Barn vacation rentals in Denmark

Wow wow wow! What a special place this is, really fantastic! From the moment we arrived (we were even allowed to check in earlier due to departure time from Billund, very nice!) we felt at home in this great place. We really can't think of anything that was less or disappointing. There is everything in the cottage, from toys to basic supplies (herbs, oil, coffee, tea, etc). The rooms are all beautifully decorated. And then outside... Wow! An sea of space, the children (3&7) more than had a good time in "the playground" as they say. The animals finished it even more. And then May-Britt, a woman with a giant heart. Nothing was too crazy, we could always go for questions (and then got an extensive answer), our oldest could help in various ways (his initiative) and wanted to stay. Actually, I would say; don't book because then there is no room for us anymore. 😉 But seriously; book and enjoy! Amazing!

Lovely reception in the door. Immediately, she invited us to a cup of coffee and tea in the garden room, where we talked cozy. We felt comfortable here. She went up with us and showed us the room, bathroom, and coffee and tea for free use.

Great place, everything was clean and as described. The most beautiful thing is the quiet location and the beautiful view of nature. Lone and Jan are very friendly and the dog is absolutely sweet and cuddly.

We spent 4 days with a total of 8 friends on the farm. Very nice rustic and great, quiet location. We found the location, completely in the countryside perfect! There are several fireplaces, grills and ample seating for indoors and outdoors! The table tennis games after grilling were a lot of fun. There is everything you need in the house - even with so many people. Even in the rain you can eat very nicely in the living/dining area. The garden behind the house offers great views and is very nicely laid out! Communication with Stine was also great and straightforward. We enjoyed it very, very much and we definitely recommend it! It's a paradise for people and dogs!

The house in Klitmøller was above all expectations. The house is perfect for two families as it is divided into two departments. We had 5 amazing days without power and mobiles, which was a lovely break in a busy everyday life. We will definitely visit this lovely place again and send the warmest recommendations.

We had a wonderful Christmas time at Mia's place, beautifully situated in Syltemae Ådal, lovely rooms (especiallay the 1st floor, stunning), and a nice, warm ambiance.

Lovely house on Samsø. Quiet surroundings, it was perfect for our family spring trip.

This house is just a dream on earth !

We rented Henrik's home for a weekend in connection with a graduation party for our club, and we couldn't have wished for a better place. The home was clean, nice and well-equipped with everything we needed – from good wifi to access to all imaginable facilities. The surroundings are completely unique, especially if you are looking for a secluded place with plenty of opportunities for activities. There is a football field, disc golf, lots of board games, large green gardens in front of and behind the house – perfect for play, fun and relaxation. Henrik was an incredibly helpful and welcoming host who made sure everything worked out – and more. We were 25 people gathered and everyone had a good time and has already expressed a desire to return next year – and we definitely will! We highly recommend the place for families, clubs and groups who want a cozy, spacious and well-organized stay in beautiful surroundings. Thanks for a great weekend, Henrik!

We had some lovely days at Karen Louise's house. We were so well received by Sonja with the greatest hospitality :) and we happened to have the house and even the yoga room to ourselves. There is a wonderful tranquility all over the place and it is beautifully located overlooking the fjord and close to the ancient mountains. A great place for immersion and also a great area to bike and walk in. We would love to come again and highly recommend Bakkegården .

Daniel personally welcomed us and welcomed us. We (6 adults, 3 infants) felt very comfortable on his farm on the edge of the nature reserve and surrounded by peace and quiet and were able to use the large garden perfectly. The house is cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

This place is a magical farm - so beautifully decorated, with such wonderful taste wherever you look and sit. The owners are just so cool and interesting and it shows. The kitchen is rustic and incredible. I dont believe you can find a comparable place. The area is so peaceful, we were happy we stayed away from the northern summer crowds. The surrounding grounds are peaceful with long grains. The house has endless spaces to relax and think. We absolutely loved it. Perfect for larger groups.

The stay fully met our expectations. It all worked out perfectly. The host couple were very friendly and welcoming. A great effort was made to make us feel welcome and at ease.

Thank you for two great nights. It was a large apartment with most of what you need, if you stay longer, however, closets to unpack in. The place was cozy with both cows, horses and chickens nearby. The kids really enjoyed the place and the host was nice and helpful.

Very beautiful nature, nice surroundings and a very nice house equipped with everything we needed and more.

We - two couples of friends - had some really nice days in Nina and Michael's vacation apartment. There was everything we needed, it was super clean and we were really well received. We had bikes with us, and on a windy day we cycled into the forest to Almindingen, it was absolutely perfect. Absolutely recommended for a few days stay!
