Family-friendly vacation rentals in Denmark

We had a great time at Asgeir’s house, it was ideal for our family gathering. The house is really spacious and provided everything we needed - even a baby bath and some games for the children! Asgeir was a really responsive and friendly host, even providing a jar of his homemade honey 🙂 the house matched the description and we had no issues at all. Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a great time in this cozy house with a very nice spa. The house is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine and lots of space to hang around, relax and play some games on his selfmade slot machines, good old PlayStation or watch some movies from an impressive DVD library. Kim and his wife Lea are awesome hosts, so kind and friendly, always helpful and if you are lucky you might get introduced in their hobbies ;-) 5+* for this experience, thats why we love AirBnB !!!

We had a great stay at Per’s place. The surrounding were beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed. Very nice and large house to host two families. Per was great at communicating all needed information and always responded quickly. Can highly recommend 😊

We spent a week over New Year's in Lene's cozy and hygge cottage in Rude Strand. We had a wonderful week despite the poor weather. The sauna definitely helped. :-) The sandy beach is just across the street and was perfect to walk along and dip (winter bathing). Aarhus is a 30 minutes drive away and an awesome city to explore. Many nice shops, museums, cafes and restaurants. There is a very nice bakery with a small store in walking distance (2km) and nice supermarkets in Odder. We will come back if in the area...

We were two couples, we stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed the house, jacuzzi, sauna and view over Vejle fjord. We even spotted lots of dolphins. Jette was easy to communicate with. Thank you - we are looking forward to coming back.

I and 4 of my old school friends had a great stay at Birgitte's. We chose the accommodation for the speaceful location with public transport connection, good distribution of rooms and outdoor facilities and were not disappointed. I definitely recomment it to others! Thank you so much!

Peter's place in Sindal was outstanding! The location is quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The flat is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to navigate. Peter was very responsive when we were booking. I highly recommend Peter's place. We spent a lot of time in Skagen, but i wish we had more time to explore the space around Peter's place. It's very rural and quiet. Five stars! No complaints at all. 😀

Thanks for a great stay! Lissie and Jan welcomed us very warmly and also helped us with questions. The place is big enough and very nicely decorated. There's nothing missing and you can even bring a dog. We would definitely come back!

Spacious, clean apartment. Close to the metro, beach and airport. Balcony space is lovely. Mikael was really friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Sif's beach house was simply fantastic! The location of the house is unbeatable – just steps away from the beach which was perfect for our two young children. The house itself is beautifully and stylishly decorated, you immediately notice that a lot of love has been put into the details. There was enough space for both families, and we were able to enjoy our holiday to the fullest. The kitchen was well equipped, and the cozy terrace gave us many relaxing evenings. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the house!

Late summer is also a great time to spend relaxing days in this wonderful little beach cottage. We had 8 days of sunshine, which we used with hikes on the Lillebæltsstien, daily swimming (rather short) and several visits to Middelfart (at the old harbor there are delicious fresh fish). However, we could have stayed on the terrace all day to enjoy the wonderful view. We loved the beach house, it is tiptop clean and tastefully decorated. Janne and John are attentive and warm hosts, we say thank you!

The orchard house keeps what it promises - when we were there there were many yellow and red mirabelles on the trees in the garden, including blackberries. The house is well equipped, very quiet (very nice view in the clear stargazing) and offers a wide view over the adjacent field as well as a really beautiful garden. As a welcome, a little surprise was waiting for us in the fridge, thank you for that! We had a really nice relaxing few days.

We had a great week here. The house is spectacular with amazing views out to the sea and 30 seconds walk to a lovely beach. Everything was clean and well equipped and we all enjoyed hanging out at the house and relaxing between swims in the sea. Would love to come again.

Everything was fine and as we expected. quiet place. walking distance to Gudenåen. Lovely warm house, despite freezing temperatures outside. Nice with a welcoming host and that we could come early.

The cottage is located in a very quiet holiday park. You look out over the sea and in "the backyard" you can walk to hammerhus in no time. The house itself is fully equipped. We had sunny and rainy days and for both the cottage was a fine base. The contact with Niklas went smoothly and quickly. If we come back (we will definitely do that, the island is beautiful!) we would love to come back here.

We spend two incredibly perfect days at Karstens Beach House. The location is unbeatable. Directly at a beatiful beach which we had to ourselves (in February). We were lucky enough to see spectacular sunrises and sunsets as well as watching the stars while sitting in the hot tub. The only downside was that the hot tub took a long time to get hot but after that reheated quickly - totally worth all the effort! The house itself is nothing too luxurious, a little bit old, but very cozy with everything you need! Karsten is very quick in responding and always happy to help. Just make sure you read everthing carefully because hot tub, towels, linen, electricity and cleaning come at aditional charge if you need them. This seems to be normal in Denmark though and will be the same in all the other houses. We would come back and stay at Karstens house any time!

Excellent apartment for families. I my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 12 were 5 days in Vibeke's apartment. It is very well connected to the center, both by metro and by water taxi and on foot in 20 minutes. It's very spacious, very clean in a quiet neighborhood and overlooking the marina and canal. We enjoyed it so much and would definitely repeat it.

It was lovely. We loved to stay at this place. Host was so friendly and super responsive. She even let us check out late, without asking for extra payments. Wil definitely come back.

A very great place for families and families with small children. Garden and house itself is very big, cozy and clean. Location is also very peaceful. Mikkel and his family were very hospitable, communication was also fast. We had such a nice trip and of course we were lucky with the weather (we were able to enjoy the pool for several days). We are very thankful ☺️
