Perfect! So close to the beach but private. Great hosts as well.

We had a really good time. We didn’t know the river was flooded so that was kind of a bummer. We only caught two fish. We saw an alligator and we went to the beach in Saint Joe with our little dog on Tuesday. She had a blast. I loved the place except the back bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable master bedroom was awesome. Everything you need for a little getaway Renée was very nice. We had one little problem the day we were leaving, but she responded and we got it fixed quickly.😄

We really enjoyed our stay. We ended up all sleeping upstairs in the loft because there was enough room on the floor for our kids' 2 travel beds. The AC/heating unit worked well. We were also glad to be able to get to the Estiffinulga boat landing on the Apalachicola River in just a few minutes by car (we could not find a way to walk there because of a private residence and HipCamp between us and the landing). There is also a fabulous playground and field at the boat landing, perfect for our kids. The cabin was quiet and peaceful. Even though it is on a corner lot, we rarely saw cars going by and felt totally safe and relaxed. Jason was very responsive when we had a couple of questions the first night. One thing to note is that the water is super sulfur-y. It's not bad for you or anything, but if this is not something you're used to, you may want to buy bottled water at the DG about 10 minutes before you turn off to the cabin. Overall, highly recommend this place!

Where should I start? Location was top notch. Very private and very quiet. Views were amazing. The property was so peaceful we forgot that we were even in Florida. Can not say enough about the porch, just sitting in the rocking chairs all morning sipping on coffee or in the evening sitting by the fire was so relaxing. We will be back. If you’re lucky enough, you may even get to meet Kitty Cat!
