Just got back from a lovely 2 day stay at The Shepherds Hut. My first Airbnb experience was so positive. Would definitely stay there again. Stunning location and 2 minutes walk to the beach. The hut is cosy but has all you need for a short stay. Parking on site is secure on a driveway behind a gate. Thank you Meg ☺️

A delightful stay in a charming shepherd's hut! Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. The hut is nestled in stunning surroundings, offering peaceful views and a true escape into nature. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome book, filled with great local recommendations that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a tranquil retreat.

Had a great time staying here with my dog. I loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. On a sunny day, I got early morning sunshine in my cabin, and at night, I was able to enjoy the sunset right from my bed through the window. It was picturesque from every angle. The owner, Dale, is certainly very talented—you can see it in the small, charming designs he created for both functional purposes and decoration. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can prepare your own meals without needing to go to the town centre every time. There’s easy access to the coast path, perfect for a little hike with your dog. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a peaceful, private stay with their pets. It’s so convenient to simply open the cabin door and let your dog out to the field to wee. ☺️

A simple and small shepherd's hut in the magical Cotna valley, surrounded by and embedded in, young and old trees and next to wondruos gardens with an enchanting outdoor seating area. Own outdoor kitchen next to a yurt (cutlery, salt and pepper provided, a fridge a stroll away) and a warm shower amongst hawthorne trees. I ordered the delicious organic breakfast hamper and fell in love with the sourdough buns. Truly the best I'ever tasted and they also made my stomach purr. Sara very kindly showed me how to make them. A very kind and relaxed host, lovely to chat too! Cotna is right next to gorgeous woodland tracks and to one of the most beautiful and wild British coastlines I've met.

We loved our stay in this beautiful little shepherds hut! It was tranquil and overlooked a field with a beautiful horse as a neighbour. It was spotlessly clean and the bed very cosy and comfortable. The host Anneli was very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

We arrived late afternoon and found the key in the door ready for us to let ourselves in. We met Francoise who was very welcoming. Later we decided to BBQ and the little Sheppard’s hut had everything we needed to make dinner. The little log burner kept us warm and cozy. In the morning we had the fresh eggs left for us for breakfast. Overall, a nice peaceful stay. Many thanks.

Had a lovely night stay in the shepherds hut , very peaceful and amazing views. Short trip to the local pub where we had a lovely meal and felt very welcomed. It’s a great location for exploring Cornwall as you are central to all Directions. Fully recommend!!

We’ve just returned from the most beautiful, soul-soothing Easter weekend at Fiona’s Shepherd’s Hut, and I’m still feeling the peace it gifted us. Tucked away in this serene little corner of nature, it truly was the perfect sanctuary for us 3. From starlit soaks in the hot tub to slow mornings with nothing but birdsong, we were able to truly rest, reset, and reconnect — with each other, and with ourselves. The space holds such a gentle, nurturing energy… it reminded me what stillness really feels like. Fiona, Phoebe & Fennella — thank you for creating this haven. We leave full of gratitude. Beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. Loved being right by the beach as well as having easy access to lovely souvenir stores and delightful refreshment stores. Ellie had very clear and understand instructions on how to get places which was very helpful 🙂

Lovely shepherd's hut just a stones throw from Harlyn Beach and the PIG (which is why we booked it). The property is small but has everything you need for a cosy night's stay, including a welcome selection of teabags and coffee pods!

Amazing location and well looked after, only small mention is that the bathroom is separate to the shepherds hut. The place was otherwise amazing and worth the visit. Thank you!

A wonderful couple of nights at the Shepherds hut. Nice and secluded, lots of wildlife. Perfect place to stay to explore West Cornwall. Edwina and James helped us with the hot tub fire as we struggled a bit, very accommodating and friendly hosts. Complimentary Prosecco and scones went down a treat thank you !

We stayed here with our dog for a weekend getaway, and honestly, the photos don’t do the place justice. It’s absolutely amazing - so peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved it too! There are plenty of lovely walks nearby if you want to stay active, but it’s also perfect for just unwinding and enjoying a BBQ. Being away from the city made it feel like the perfect escape. I personally usually like to try new places each time, BUT I’d definitely love to come back here. Thank You!

Perfect overnight stay whilst walking the coast path. Nicola had thought about every little detail so we felt really comfortable and well looked after. Would highly recommend!

Wow what a place. Definitely recommend to couples. Hut is amazing super clean and enough space for two. Your utility are outside in other hut very clean and very spacious. Very nice looking garden. Its lots I can say but best way is to go there and enjoy. Big thanks to Alison to have Us. Definitely come back again🫶

Our weekend stay, was really lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our brownies (Thank you again for them) the location was very scenic, definitely ticked all the boxes. Amy, was really accommodating from check-in to our check-out. We really enjoyed the offer of the hot tub and fire pit too. We will be looking at coming back again in the near future.

Wow what a great find, utterly unique, charming and a wonderous haven The photos do not do the accommodation justice. It is so nice here so peaceful and private, it has everything you could possibly need. Oh la la is such a lovely shepherd's hut clean and spotless, the separate bathroom is also really nice and also so clean. Stevie and Gina are so friendly and welcoming, we even had a ride on the train that Stevie so kindly got out for us. If you are looking for a place to stay that is quite, peaceful but still on the doorstep of Perranporth then this is for you. Just walking around the vast garden is a sight to behold, so many great touches we only stayed for a couple of nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much Stevie and Gina you have created an amazing place to stay and unwind. We hope to return again, we loved it Leigh, Corrina and Hector x

During my hike along the Coast Path, it was a rare day of rest. I was able to rest relax in the cozy shepherd's hut and visit the beach nearby. Thank you for this opportunity. Sue is an incredibly helpful and kind host. Thank you so much!

Booked for my partners birthday and got exactly what was described, a quiet peaceful rural retreat away from all the noise of everyday life. Had the most amazing relaxing time and would highly recommend Emma’s shepards hut to anybody. We spent the evenings having a barbecue, followed by watching the sunset in the hot tub, then finishing the evening off with a beer around the fire pit. Our days were spent soaking up the sun on the sun loungers, walking our dog around the woods and fields, and saying hello to all the animals. We were blessed with the weather on our stay. Trevor greeted us shortly after we arrived and explained how everything worked, he also told us where we could take the dog for a walk and bought us over some logs for the hot tub. The hot tub was already heated upon are arrival too. A fantastic weekend away!! 5 stars all around from us.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful setting. Accommodation was perfect, just as described and provided a private haven in a fabulous location, which is minutes from the beach, a cafe and pub. Loved the extra touch of milk and wine on arrival. So glad I found this, I will be back.
