“It was great being able to return to the cabin! We love the peace and quiet so much there, we are already planning on returning with friends. The place is always clean and tidy with every thing you could possibly need. Thank you to the hosts for always making us feel welcome and allowing us to explore their property with our dogs.”
A cozy log cabin for two nestled in the trees like your very own adult treehouse with a HOT TUB! The private porch also has a gas grill, cedar double rocker, & dining space. Cabin is between Jamestown & Oneida, in Big South Fork, with numerous trailheads and hiking nearby. Near The Hitching Post General Store.
“Amy's place was perfect for a last-minute getaway for our anniversary. This is quite the "hidden gem," right off the road but somehow feels very secluded, as it is tucked down below a hill and surrounded by trees, especially when you are enjoying the back deck and hot tub (really does have a "treehouse" feel to it!). The space is not huge but is laid out very efficiently and has everything for a solo traveler or couple. The location is also hard to beat if you're in the area to enjoy Big South Fork or any of the other nearby state parks and natural areas. This is right in the middle of it all and a 10 minute drive to many different trail heads for some great hiking (and it apparently horseback riding as well). Perfect place for a cozy/romantic retreat and a nice home base for exploring all the natural beauty in this part of TN/KY.”

“The owners are kind & very hospitable. Everything is ready for you when you arrive. As far as camping, and staying in rustic cabins is concerned Homegrown Hideaway elevated the whole idea. To be able to hike, camp, in such a beautiful place, and have a bathroom near by, and a kitchen available makes it seem glamorous with a natural ease about everything. I can't say enough good things. This place feels magical to me. I almost don't want to tell you about it to keep it to myself 😁”
