Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail and comfort was top-notch. I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway. The space itself is cosy and clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly accommodating and flexible and really fast at responding, which made the whole experience even better. Exactly as advertised, the bijou flat is in a central location just a few minutes walk from the main shopping area in Keswick. The clean flat has all you need for a comfortable stay, including plenty of utensils for those who want to self-cater, plus on-site parking.

Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

A lovely stay in Ambleside, the home was fantastic! Peaceful at night with plenty of activities nearby in the day and pretty much all within walkable distance. Would love stay again!

Well, what a stay! Authentic characterful farmhouse beautifully furnished and equipped. We were right at home immediately…..across the lane to the Black Swan, up the road to the golf course and right bang in the centre of the most spectacular countryside! A bath with a view, a farmhouse table, roaring fire and family fun an antidote to the real world, even if just for a while …. Would recommend it to all - take this medicine at least annually! ❤️

This place exceeded our expectations. Immaculate, spacious, great location. Although it was bank holiday weekend it was so peaceful in the boathouse yet very close to the town. We loved it - a great place to meet up with friends!

We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful little house. The setting is wonderful, right on the beach, and to be able to go to sleep with the window open listening to the sound of the waves was just bliss. The house has everything we needed. There were 4 adults in our party and the house is well equipped for us all. The owner, Garry, was very quick to reply to a couple of our questions and also offered use of sun loungers and any items in the garage so we used the barbecue and table to enjoy an evening in the garden watching the sun go down over the sea.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

What a beautiful cottage ❤️, pictures didn't do it justice, so much bigger than it looked and everything was so hi spec, we absolutely loved it especially the outside balcony, overlooking the estuary with fantastic sunsets, thankyou so much to Danielle and Greg and highly recommend it 😀 xxx

Really great place in the middle of Keswick. Can get to the main square within 5 minutes of walking, where there’s lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. Really well looked after home and John was really friendly, coming round to say hi when we arrived. I would definitely recommend and come back again!

This place is absolutely stunning, no photo could possibly capture the true beauty of the building. The huge windows overlooking the stream are pure magic. It was an absolute dream of a stay, if you ever feel the need to just switch off and be alone with your thoughts and really unwind this is the place to do it. 100% I will be booking this again, everything was spotless and the decor is straight out of a cottage/industrial living magazine. There is nothing negative to say about this place other than the pure jealousy I feel that I don't live there full time.

Our week in this lovely apartment sped by too quickly! It was beautifully decorated with cosy lounges and chairs and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had more than we needed and all appliances were easy to use. The location was faultless - everywhere was so accessible from here! Pubs, cafes and restaurants were just across the road - where we headed after long hikes each day. We felt very sad to leave and look forward to returning one day soon 👍👋❤️

This was a lovely place to stay with my family (my wife, 5-year-old, and 2-year-old). The property is a first-floor flat facing the river, with wonderful views at breakfast!. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Keswick, with both the Booths and Coop being similar, both slightly closer than that. The property itself is a characterful and slightly quirky layout that retains its historical charm whilst having had a modern refurbishment. The instructions Lara gave were really clear and helpful in terms of finding the property and operating the door access and the heating. We would gladly stay here again when we are back in Keswick.

Lovely and spacious apartment fully equipped for our weekend away. Perfect combination of rustic and modern aesthetic. Kitchen was fully suited for all cooking needs. Bathrooms and all other areas were spotless. living room was a cozy place to chill with plenty of space. Location is perfect as right in the heart of Kendal with nearby shops and restaurants if needed. It was easy to travel to anywhere in the Lake District from here. Check-in was very straightforward.

Fantastic wee flat in a super central location. The flat was spotless and well kitted out with everything we needed. Great place for dog walks and a number of dog friendly pubs nearby too. Pizza from the nearby pizzeria was lovely!

We stayed over a bank holiday weekend with 8 adults and 12 kids in the Granary and the Store. The accommodation was well set up for large groups with ample cooking and serving ware, plenty of space to sit and comfortable beds. It offered excellent value for money for a large group booking and Julie was an excellent host, communicative, flexible and thoughtful. The kitchen is on the small side but we managed 2x breakfast and 2x dinners for 20 in there so it is definitely doable, and large dishwasher helps with cleaning away! The only drawback of the property is that the outdoor space is limited however we had some great days out at Lowther Castle, Sycamore Gap and Haltwhistle leisure centre - with lots of other great days out within 45-60 mins drive. For the price we paid we were very pleased and would recommend to other large family groups as long as you don’t mind a bit of a drive for day trips. Thanks Julie!

Excellent location-easy to walk into town centre but as premises were in a park and overlooking river then best of both worlds. Spacious rooms,large equipped kitchen ,one shower room and one bathroom were great for more than one couple or families. Very tastefully decorated. Great sleep. Dog friendly too -was nice to have accommodation that was very homely and decorated nicely but also accepted dogs,good walking on doorstep,was great value for people sharing cost as probarbly the upper end of what we are happy to pay for a couple of nights but no complaints as a pleasure to come back to after a day out and about. Dog treats and hamper were a lovely welcomed gesture.
