Vacation rentals in Chrishall Grange

We had a wonderful weekend at Amanda's beautifully converted barn. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with two glasses of prosecco, which set the tone for a fantastic stay. Everything was so well-organized that we didn’t need to ask for anything, though Amanda was always on hand if needed and gave us many recommendations and tips beforehand, so we basically had everything we needed to know upon arrival. It was the perfect peaceful escape. We spent our time relaxing, watching Netflix and Sky, cooking, playing board games, and enjoying the pool table, which was a fantastic bonus. The interior and artwork are stunning—just like in the photos, if not better. Saffron Walden, a charming town just 10 minutes away, was lovely to explore, especially the Saturday market and quaint cafés. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at The 8 Bells. Thank you, Amanda, for an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. I cannot fault it, from efficient communication, flexible check-in, to the clean and cozy feel. The cottage is beautifully decorated with antiques, we loved the cottage quiz - it was great fun. The little additions like breakfast, toiletries etc. made us feel so at home.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Susanne however we did meet her lovely husband who showed us around and how to work the hot tub which was much appreciated. The stay was so so so nice, really quiet with a lovely pub down the road (the pheasant), and their food was amazing. Kept this trip local as we didn’t want to go too far but will definitely be back again/recommend.

A cute little hideaway, tucked besides the main house with all amenities you would need for an overnight or short duration stay (self contained unit, with microwave, induction hob and utensils). Jemma was on hand to guide me to my room (The Pantry). Jemma was responsive with messages.

Lovely bungalow, very well presented and clean. The online photos were great, but if anything it was nicer in person. The initial instructions left by Jane, including those in the bungalow, meant I didnt need to contact Jane for anything whilst there. She also included a folder showing local restaurants etc, which when you aren’t familiar with the area, was really helpful - so thank you! Everything was clean and where it was meant to be. It was nice and warm and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If we are in the area again we would happily stay again. Many thanks Sam and Sally

Just right for two people, compact but well laid out and has everything you need. Appreciated the breakfast cereal!

A fantastic little space, comfortable for a week's stay while completing a course nearby. Perfectly equipped to handle a couple people and Catharine was more then accommodating and helpful!

This was our fourth stay as this Airbnb. we combine it with a trip to Wimpole to see the Xmas lights trail and our kids always ask to stay here even though we live about 35 mins away 🤣 The Airbnb is comfy and cosy and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I'm sure we'll be back next year!
