The house is located in an area of Tuscany called 'GARFAGNANA' (CHIOZZA - Castiglione G.na), located at 800 mt. The last 6 km are of good mountain road but uphill and with curves. It is a recently restored stone farmhouse with a heated pool that can also be used in spring and autumn and a hot tub up to 36 degrees. The house is structured on 3 levels, ideal for family vacations and relaxing days. It is facing SOUTH and you can enjoy a wonderful view of the picturesque mountains the Apuan Alps.-

Peaceful Water Mill turned House by the River

Built in 1600, this old water mill was fully restored 5 years ago, maintaining its rustic charm. Surrounded by nature, it offers the ideal break from the hassles of city life, be it with friends, family or just by yourself. Latest internet tech makes it a perfect working 'staycation'. It boasts a shaded 'al fresco' area at the rear, a sun drenched garden in the front, and is set in a small hamlet with ancient cobbled traffic-less roads. You can find river pools at the bottom of the garden.

Near the house there is a small chicken coop, with the possibility of eggs at km 0. additional bed availability upon request. There is WI-FI.. MTB and E-MTB rental possibility!

The Sound of Barga-Tuscany

Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Please note there is a 1€ tourist tax per person for the first 3 nights to be paid cash upon arrival.

The Arches - a beautifully renovated apartment

'The Arches' is a beautiful, traditional Garfagnana home. The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. Quality features complement this history in the form of two modern bathrooms, central heating and a contemporary kitchen.

La Grecchia

A place in the middle of nature, suitable for those who want to get out of everyday life and relax!The property includes a large kitchen with fireplace, a living room, a living room and a bathroom. Outside there is a wood-burning oven and a barbecue. The entire valley is crossed by the Cesarano stream and for those who want to take a healthy walk there are many itineraries to follow, where you can meet several wild animals in addition to those of the company itself!

“La dimora del Codirosso” is my historic family home in which I rent a part to those who travel or seek rest, rediscovering the atmosphere of the past. The house is hidden in a small medieval village in the Norther Tuscany, Brucciano, among the tranquility of the woods and mountains of Garfagnana's area. On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price.
