The house is highly recommended. It is extremely functional, with large spaces and impeccable cleanliness. The living-dining room is very comfortable, ideal for relaxing or working. For those who work online, as is my case, it is an excellent place: it has good internet, a work table, different types of chairs and a pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is fully stocked for long stays and is very comfortable. Francisco, the host, was always available and attentive. While the house is spectacular, the town of Chelém is not the best destination for tourists. The streets have quite a lot of trash and construction materials scattered, which affects their appearance. The beaches are not the best either: they don't have much sand and are not ideal for walking. That said, if the reason for the stay is work or any other reason that does not depend on the town's appeal, this house is simply perfect.

Jill and Martin are an excellent hosts. The place is clean and comfortable, and Jill was always readily available to answer any questions I had about the area, or even order Uber for me to get around when I initially arrived because I had phone issues. This is a quiet place and ideal for someone who wants to walk on the beach and take a swim, especially early in the mornings, which I did quite often. Nothing is perfect, so my only recommendations are: this is a quiet town if you need the experience of a busy downtown you will need to take an Uber or Taxi to go to either Progresso or Merida Centro for a more lively nightlife. Also, it gets hot near the beach towns in this area, so to enhance your experience I would consult with the host on the AC usage time frame( if there is any). I enjoyed Jill, Martin, and a couple of other guests that were staying there during my visit...These are super friendly people to hang with by the pool while having a couple of cervezas!

A very peaceful and complete place in everything you can occupy

A very nice place, the photos don't do it justice, it's really a wonderful house 2 blocks from a quiet, relaxed and beautiful beach. Haydee is warm and wonderful, everything was perfect, always attentive to what we needed. We had a great time, I definitely recommend it and of course I would return. My dogs had an amazing time, the back area is spacious, we played and ran, on the terrace we played cards, lottery overlooking the pool, caressed by the breeze. 10/10❤️
