In a charming little corner of the countryside. Easy to access. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Parking in front of the accommodation, convenient.

An excellent stay with a very warm welcome in a very well located house a few minutes from Cognac. All the necessary amenities for a few days, a superb fireplace in case of cold. Beautiful and recommended!

We had a great time at Laëtitia's place. The place is beautiful, the accommodation too. This mix of wood and modern accessories is great. Laëtitia is a great host, very welcoming, responsive and available. I highly recommend this listing! In the event that we return to the area, we will return to this place without hesitation.

Excellent stay at Sylvie's. The house is spacious, very pleasant and comfortable. The bedding is excellent and the veranda is a real plus. The place was very clean and we enjoyed finding the beds made on arrival, as well as tea towels and towels in sufficient quantity. Lots of space to park on the large lot where the house is located. Good restaurant nearby. Perfect stay!

Corinne and Antoine are very good hosts, it was a very nice meeting! The accommodation is very well designed and well-equipped. We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

Second time we've rented the Maison du Bonheur, and there will certainly be a third time 😃 Beautiful house, always as pleasant, clean and welcoming. It's a pleasure to enjoy good times with family in this beautiful house, where you can enjoy all the comforts. Emilie is a lovely host, always attentive to her tenants and accommodating. We had a great week at this place. Everything was as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. The host was very responsive, welcoming and thoughtful throughout the stay. We felt right at home! Special mention for accepting our two dogs without any problems, it's become rare and we really appreciated it. Everything was there for a successful vacation. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back. Again, thank you for a great week!
