Family-friendly vacation rentals in Châteaubernard

Thanks again to Sylvie and her husband. We were hosted very well. The accommodation is impeccable, the view is magnificent and we were in a quiet area. We didn't have time to enjoy the SPA but it looks amazing. We'll be back without a second thought. Thank you again for your kindness.

Very quiet accommodation, very nice terrace. The amenities are accurate to the photos. Easy access secure parking. Self check-in and checkout with the key box.

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. Thanks Louise, thank you Michael.

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Jean Marcel is an excellent host, a great welcome. The night at the mill is a unique experience, to be redone!

Nadine and Daniel are truly outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond to prepare everything for us, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved chatting with them and indulging in the delightful meals at Nadine's table. It was a warm and memorable experience that made our time in France incredibly special! If I could give more than five stars, I would, because five stars are simply not enough to convey how exceptional they truly are.

We had a pleasant night in the trailer, the setting is peaceful and the host was very welcoming. Breakfast is very full. We do not regret our choice and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful place with a beautiful pool and nice and welcoming owners, ready to give you many tips for a pleasant stay. Proximity to the estuary, restaurants and shops. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

This is the second time we've come, the cottage is still as pleasant as its host. I would recommend it

ideal place of healing, fire pit available, gazebo with large table to read the comics, books or games available. only small bemol: having to enter the hosts' house for the bathroom. we would have appreciated a shower near the bar or the dishwashing place.

We felt very comfortable in Karine's beautiful house and were able to enjoy our stay very much despite bad weather. Karine and her aunt Chantal, who welcomed us very well, are very friendly, helpful and straightforward. Surroundings is quiet and idyllic yet very close to the beautiful town of Jonzac with bakery, shops and everything you need - we will be happy to come back.

As in the photos and even better: privacy, space, quiet. It feels like home. The owners are on site, very discreet, available and very kind. The pool is good sized and the garden is beautiful! I recommend it!

No unpleasant surprises. Well located, quiet and close to the city and road junctions. Correct bus service. Nice little cottage, clean and well-stocked, welcoming and discreet owners. Shops nearby. Everything is "tip top"

Christelle was very responsive throughout our stay. The accommodation is clean and spacious. Note that the stairs to access the floor are narrow. we had a great time and hope to come back.

We had a great time in this residence which is located in the middle of vineyards and sunflowers. The setting is relaxing and quiet. The listing matches the photos. The hosts are attentive and super kind. Blue mega thumb for the pool that occupied the kids and adults well! Very good welcome from Wendy and Chris, they were attentive and always available to answer our questions. All the information is available on their website and in the welcome booklet of the cottage (in English and French). The place is pleasant and well thought out for children... and their parents! Our 9 year old son really loved the pirate boat and especially the pool!!! It has everything you need in the cottage including games and children's books. We loved staying here. The property is a ten minute drive from Saintes and all that is has to offer. We had a day at La Rochelle, a day at the beach in Royan and a lazy day or two in the beautiful garden. We would really love to come and stay here again!

A really lovely comfortable gite. Amazing outdoor space including a safe pool with loads to entertain the kids. And lots nearby to do for young and old. We really enjoyed it with our two young ones.

Beautiful atypical house, quietly located. The owner was very welcoming and small gifts were waiting for us upon arrival. We had a good week at Violette and her husband's place. Communication with them was always very good. We recommend for a visit to the Charente Maritime and Marais Poitevin.

During my stay at the accommodation, we enjoyed the sunset in the beautiful yard every day. The host was very kind and gave me detailed information about the tourist attractions nearby, which made my trip more fun! The accommodation was lovely and clean.
