Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

This was a wonderful stay. The house was spotless, and comfortable. The beds were amazing, best sleep I've had in a while. Dai was very responsive with questions we had prior to the stay.

It was a pleasure for me and my family to be staying at Francis’s place, we traveled from The Bahamas to attend my son’s high school graduation. We would like to return on our vacation in the future.

Can’t say enough about this cozy space, with a living room large enough to really sprawl out and plants perking out everywhere. Walkable and green neighborhood, Peter’s fantastic list of local recs for food and coffee and more — nothing not to love.

Quiet and peaceful in an area that was very conducive to relaxing. Nice screened in porch, well kept up landscaping and seasonal flowers. Easy access to find and located near amenities for shopping. Neighborhood is quiet and provided for a nice place to walk. The master bedroom was very comfortable and his and her bathrooms was a nice touch. The laundry room was big. Plenty of seating options throughout the house to lounge and read. Highly recommend this location.

Had a great stay at this adorable property in NE Mpls. The location can't be beat. It's super easy to find, just a few minutes to downtown and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Everything was great but I think what surprised me the most was how quiet it was. The property is located just off two pretty busy streets and when inside coudln't hear any traffic or noise from a nearby bar on a busy Saturday night. I'd definitely stay again the next time I'm in town.

I loved staying at Brenda’s place! My only regret was not being able to stay longer. Brenda was so very helpful even lending me her own personal cookware since I had a lot of baking to do! The yard is gorgeous and the neighborhood has so many attractions within walking distance! Try staying g here-you’ll love it!

Eleanor’s place was very beautiful, just as listed, she was very responsive for anything we needed. If ever needed I would definitely be staying here again with my family, my favorite part was her beautiful porch!

Four friends and I had a wonderful stay in this home during our college reunion weekend. It is spacious, well laid out, nicely decorated and in a charming neighborhood. There were great spots for us to hang out together. The beds were very comfortable. Debbie was flexible with our check in and out times which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Rupinder is an excellent host. He has an eye for detail. It was nice to have coffee and cream, sparkling water, and plenty of other items in the well stocked apartment. Lots of comfortable pillows and the beds were excellent too. It was very quiet and we slept well. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

A great place. Cozy but spacious. Super clean. We didn’t arrive until after 10 PM, but Susan was fine with that.

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

We LOVED absolutely LOVED our stay at Beth’s cabin. It is was clean, organized, and neat. It is nestled towards the end of the street- next to some very quiet neighbors- which I appreciated! It was very private and secluded! Everything worked- everything was nice and new and fresh! It honestly did feel right at home! The hot tub is AMAZING- clean, functioning, so fun for the kids and to relax. The view is priceless- The location is amazing- we heard loons, we saw a turtle nest her eggs, we had a heron walk on our dock. We had a wonderful lunch in Annandale (In Hot Water) Maple Lake (Spooky House Coffee) and Buffalo (Gather). Overall a great stay!

I just wanted to say this place was very homey, close enough to the city and super easy to get to. This home had many games and activities to do at the location, for kids and adults. The place was clean and super easy to access. If you’re into the lake life this place is awesome, big dock, clear lake, and lots of fish for viewing or catching. Kevin is a super awesome host. We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

Vicky's cabin is so great. Very peaceful lake and the cabin has everything you need and is very comfortable.

This was our second year spending our summer vacation here, and we absolutely love it. The owners have always been incredibly helpful and responsive, even when we've had things go wrong. There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out inside and do whatever activities they enjoy, like games, puzzles, or crafting. And there's outside space for the kids to run around and play, or for the adults to just sit and relax in the shade and watch the pelicans and loons out on the lake. We've especially appreciated the main floor bedroom and bathroom, with no stairs or steps needed for entry. All of the living and cooking spaces are on the same level, and the lake is really close and straight out the back doors. Everything is provided, including bedding, towels, dishes, cooking utensils/pots/pans, basic pantry staples and even some fun games and books to read. Just show up with your clothes, toiletries, and food and you'll have everything you need for a great cabin vacation on the lake.

Jenna was a wonderful host! The neighbors are extremely friendly. We cannot wait to return for another relaxing weekend. The lake is fantastic for fishing! We caught so many fish we lost track of the amount.

Great cabin - perfect lake views. First day we fished off the dock and caught so many fish we lost count. We also took the kayaks out a few times and even caught a northern pike. Definitely will be back. Sarah was quick to respond when we had questions.
