Luxury Oceanfront Cottage-Rose Bay, Lunenburg #2

We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

This unit perfectly met our needs. Sherri thought of everything, right down to chilled water in the fridge and a little treat for that sweet tooth! The bed was super comfortable and everything was spotless throughout. The property and neighnourhood were beautiful and very peaceful. We would definitely recommend!

So glad that we chose this property for a weekend away with our grownup kids. It was just as described, extremely clean, comfortable beds with quality linens, well stocked spacious kitchen with distant views of the ocean. As mentioned in previous reviews, the sound of the ocean from the balcony is amazing. We walked to the private beach one evening which is approximately 6km round trip, and were amazed by the place despite it being a chilly and misty evening. A lovely stretch of sand to walk alongside crashing waves. We also walked along the costal trail at Clam Harbour which is truly stunning. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway. We didn’t find ourselves needing anything during our stay and feel it is very reasonably priced given its features and overall quality.

New Ocean Front Luxery Chalet

What a beautiful place. We only stayed one night but were lucky enough to catch a sunset and it was stunning. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We were mid trip so very grateful for the washer and dryer. The choir of Peeper frogs added ambience to our stargazing at night. I highly recommend this place! Hope I can visit again someday.
