Denise was a great host, property as described. Bright, airy, lovely restful decor in a very peaceful location. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. A great place to relax and enjoy.

Such a cosy little home right in the heart of Battle – perfect for a few days away with my dog. The street's full of great local pubs, and it's just across from the abbey! There are loads of lovely dog walks nearby too. We even jumped on the 1066 bus into Hastings one day and spent some time at the beach – super easy and fun!

Kate was very welcoming, friendly and said to contact her if we needed anything. The Summer House is set in beautiful surroundings with ample parking. Spotlessly clean inside, well equipped throughout. Great to have milk,eggs and biscuits on arrival. Comfortable, warm and homely feeling, did not use the steam room, but a great bonus. Good wifi Good location for nearby attractions, including beach and countryside walks. Met all our needs and would visit again. Kate came to say goodbye at the end of our stay and asked if everything was okay with our stay. Thank you John & Tracy
