Monthly Rentals in Castel di Lucio

Our visit was very pleasant . Everything was as advertised! Our rental car reservation got mixed up and then we've chosen wrong way so we got to the apartment very late! Mariarita waited passionately on our arrival and was very understanding and welcoming! And later she was always reachable and ready to assist us with some questions. I would recommend this.

Many thanks to the hosts Elisa and Nino for the wonderful time we spent in the Fattoria! There are 2 apartments, one with a terrace on the ground floor where we were, and one with a balcony upstairs. The kids really enjoyed squeezing fresh oranges from the garden and eating every meal on the terrace. The free-range animals, dogs and cats, are very sweet. There is a fence with a gate if you don't like having the dogs visit. It was all very straightforward, and short distances to the sea or the town where there is everything. At night it was also very quiet, but you can hear the apartment downstairs from upstairs when it is occupied. We were lucky with very nice neighbors who also had children, so we could enjoy the place together even better.

Incredible! One of, if not the best, Airbnb we've stayed at -- and we've been to a few! The house is well represented in the photos but the outdoor space was amazing. A giant covered outdoor kitchen, with plenty of seating, BBQ and pizza oven was the hub our stay, looking out over the hills. The pool was heated to 30C even in April, the kids swam multiple times a day. The outdoor area was also great for exploring with the kids. The kitchen is well equipped, the house has everything you need for a peaceful stay. The Wi-Fi covers the house and gardens and is fast enough for streaming. Getting to the house is easier than we thought it would be given the location, the road is wide enough for cars in both directions, not too twisty and well maintained (we stayed somewhere similar in Spain that was dramatic to get to). The town of Mistretta has a selection of supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. Best of all, Enzo (Martina's father) and his wife were such lovely hosts.

My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful two nights in the countryside, with so much thought and care put into our stay from our hosts. Arriving after a long drive we where welcomed with cake, tea, eggs, treats, everything essential to a comfortable first night and morning. Our booking included an entertaining and fun evening cooking local dishes with Nino and Dina and we enjoyed a lovely night together round the table with amazing food and drinks and sharing stories. What a pleasure this was and a great start to our holiday and to Sicily! We know some of the prior reviews mention the neighbours dogs barking, this was the case on one of the nights and sorted out with some earplugs, so we would advise this. It did not spoil our stay at all and we left full of joy at having met such wonderful people and having had such a great time. Thank you to our hosts for looking after us so well and we would recommend you book this wonderful experience if you are in Sicily!
