Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Carthage

We really enjoyed our second visit to Fairwood Cottage. It was very comfortable and in a great walking neighborhood. We had awesome walks with our dog. The house is a great place to stay while visiting the Fayetteville area. On our next trip to Fayetteville, we hope to come back.

My daughters came from New Jersey and they said the place was great. They’re looking forward to the next time they visit. They have stayed in other Airbnb and this place was excellent. The only problem was low water pressure in the showers however they got the job done. No complaints Thank you Ms Georgia

Very quaint looking neighborhood. The house are very nice even have like board games there which I thought was cool. Left earlier than expected arrived later than expected so I did lose out on today’s worth of money but other than that everything was perfect. The house is fully stocked with essentials that you need as far as cooking. Close to a Walmart, which is nice for buying food. They have a really cool fire pit outside which we did get some wood for it so the kids could make s’mores which they really enjoyed.Neighbors were quiet and friendly. It was overall really nice visit. Thank you so much.

Manisha and Eric were wonderful hosts. Probably some of the best hosts we have encountered through Airbnb. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. I would definitely stay with them again.

Perfect place for a girls' getaway. We were 5 women friends staying in this Airbnb. it was a wonderful place in every way, lots of space, privacy, had everything we could have wanted! Definitely recommend it!

Amanda's place was a "transition home" for my family while we were in the process of selling our home in New Jersey and closing on our new home in Fayetteville. We all had a bed upon which to lay our heads and the location was super private! I felt like I was coming out of the Bat Cave whenever I had to go somewhere. If you want to be someplace where you can be totally alone and undisturbed, you need to give this place your attention!

Clean and cozy condo that was well-laid out and spacious. Comfortable beds. Everything you need to cook in the kitchen.

Absolutely perfect stay - our dogs loved the privacy and pristine woods with great cleared trails. We were only 23 minutes away from all the pottery studios. The keypad entry made it so easy and flexible to check in and out. Everything we needed was provided (including extras such as soap, coffee w/creamer and sugar, laundry detergent, ziplock bags, games, books, baby wipes, etc.). The bed was comfortable with crisp white sheets and plenty of pillows and extra blankets. We had reliable free WiFi and we enjoyed watching a movie on the comfy couch. Couldn’t have been more pleased and will definitely be rebooking!

Cassie was a wonderful host. She had everything laid out and easy to use. We had a great stay. Would stay again if ever in the area. Don’t hesitate.

I was staying at Paulina's airbnb for a weekend course. It was a six hour drive to Southern Pines, and arriving at the studio felt like arriving home -- it was tidy, cozy-looking, and felt like Paulina thought of everything you could possibly need. Snacks in the kitchen for an afternoon arrival, the bed made with a blanket on top, cutlery and placeware if you wanted to eat in, and shower products available to use in the bathroom. Lighting was good, the electric stove in the fireplace is a nice touch, and a TV that swivels so you can watch from the bed or the love seat. It feels like the type of place that your family or friend has prepared for you, and it's guaranteed to be a really sweet stay. Also, it's close to stores for picking up groceries, restaurants for eating out or grabbing take away, and outdoor areas to take a walk or enjoy live music. Nothing but praises for this place. :)

Would recommend this place. My wife, dog and I came out to visit family for the holidays. We actually had a problem at check-in. What could have been a frustrating experience was handled quickly and with extra love from the hosts. Made us feel very at home and was a great stay!

This is a good place to stay. Location is pretty low traffic for the most part. The unit is what the pictures show and the bathroom is nice a big with a big tub. Only issues I had is there were dogs barking late night and early morning which wasn’t expected and made it difficult to sleep. Also that nice blue light that’s on the wall from the pictures I’m not sure if it turns off at all. Overall this is still a good place to stay for a good value.

A really lovely quiet peaceful spot, comes with friendly ducks and a great host. Ken went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.

Adorable, cozy cabin—spotlessly clean with every amenity we needed. The thoughtful, responsive host has clearly put a lot of love into this special place. We enjoyed the peaceful setting (and the friendly horse and donkey!). Wish we could’ve stayed another day. Road trippers: it’s well worth the extra 15 minutes and a few extra dollars to skip the dull chain hotels and stay somewhere memorable.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay this is where to go. My boyfriend and I stayed for his birthday and we’re already looking for when to come back. There’s a nice fireplace to sit at and make some smores (there was firewood already there as well), a sauna to sit and relax in after going on trails, fishing poles were provided, and if you’re into cooking Anne had everything you need to make a great meal. We also have a puppy and i appreciated that pets were welcome he loved his stay too:)

Michele was such a kind host, very responsive and provided much support to any questions, I had! The overall Airbnb was super cute and very nice for a private getaway. The only dislike would be the surrounding area around the Airbnb but, it’s not within the hosts control. Additionally, these were the best hosts, and they were very accommodating!

We loved our stay at Sue's "cabin"...enjoyed our time there immensely ...would look to Sue for a return visit when seeing my son and my grand children again in the future

We had a great family trip to this cabin in the woods. The cabin was right by a lake, and we spent a lot of time fishing off the pier — we caught about 20 fish! It was fantastic. The cabin itself was a true log cabin with a really cozy feel. It had three bedrooms and a loft, so there was plenty of space. There was also a game room that we really enjoyed. My nephew loved it — he played table hockey, chess, and checkers in there. The screened-in porch was probably my favorite part. It had a huge propane grill that we used to cook breakfast and grill the fish we caught. There was a big table out there where we played games, and a rocking swing where we just sat and relaxed. There were also two fire pits. We used one out on the pier one night, which was really cool, and the other one was on the back porch. Sitting around the fire at night made it even better. Honestly, it was one of the best family vacations we had in a long time. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back!

The listing was stunning and everything we hoped for. The host was also wonderful and responded very quickly when we had questions. Space was very clean and beautiful. Will absolutely return one day.

I like the goose that was outside and the duck Patty That we get to feed. And the beds,But the WiFi was cutting out and the Tv was not working cause of the thunderstorm the Thunder was right outside our door sound like gunshots but the house kept us Safe the door open when it raining But great house nice beds.A boat that we could ride in the pond And it made the family Happy We might come back cause how great it was.
