Beach condo vacation rentals in Carmel-by-the-Sea

Oh, the views!!! I rented the space for family from out of town. They were over the moon. The location ‘right on the sand’ was incredible! That’s what you’re paying for. The home itself could be amazing with a few updates. A beach property will never feel clean with carpet. Just that simple change would make the home feel updated and bring more value. There is no light on the balcony, so bring a lantern if you enjoy sitting outside after sunset. Furnishings are dated but comfortable. Overall, the week with my family so close was the best thing I could ask for.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful & perfect location, I love it here. We went for my bachelorette/birthday weekend. You’re right in the middle between Monterey & Capitola. Close to stores/restaurants but most important, right on the ocean. The place was clean, and My was wonderful. Always responded quickly and was so nice. Such a relaxing time, would definitely book again!

We had a great time at Seascape. The home was right by the beach and playground, also central location to lots of places by Santa Cruz and Monterey. The home was spacious for three adults, a toddler and baby. It was also very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We have been renting Airbnb properties in Capitola for years. This unit was by far my favorite. Absolutely everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and so well outfitted. I hope to come many many more times!

LOVED our stay here!! The house was very clean and cozy, and we loved how open the living room/dining room were. The location is amazing; beach access, and an easy drive to both Monterey and Carmel! Would absolutely recommend!!

Beautiful apartment with everything that you need. Right next to the beach which is what we were looking for and everything was very comfortable.

This was the perfect place for my family and I to relax and enjoy. Plenty to do and a great little restaurant right on location. Sidharth was awesome to communicate with and was very proactive.

We had a great stay here, very clean and super comfortable bed. Parking could sometimes be a bit annoying but we always managed to find a spot. Great views from the balconies and within a short drive of the downtown areas.

Our stay started off a bit rocky due to a little mix up, but I have to say, the host went above and beyond to make things right. Kristina was incredibly responsive and proactive, ensuring that the issue was resolved quickly and that we were comfortable and happy for the rest of our stay. The property itself is beautiful with an amazing ocean view and access to the pool/hot tub that is very close. I really appreciate how the hosts had all the extras added to the condo such as chairs, air mattress, pack and play and cooking spices ext. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. If you’re looking for a place where the host truly listens and takes action, this is it. I can't wait to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s absolutely perfect and has everything you could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find chopsticks, which totally made our day since we were planning to have ramen and thought we’d have to use forks! The view from the condo is stunning, like something out of a movie, and it was such a treat to have easy access to the beach. Watching the sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for everything, from check-in and check-out to using the washer. The check-in process with the gate attendant was smooth and made us feel extra secure. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed at several Airbnbs along Route 1, and this one was undoubtedly the best. Highly recommend!

We came together for a family weekend for my mom and nephew's birthday. 63 and 4. Every age group enjoyed the stay. There was something for everyone. From relaxing to playing in the sand. We opted for a house vs hotel because we wanted to have a home cooked dinner to celebrate. the kitchen was supplied more than adequately and the local shops provided us with fresh and delicious ingredients. It was a great experience! My nephew even cried because he didn't want to leave the beautiful house 🥹. Definitely a place to make memories.

This place was perfect for our family get together! It was clean and right on the beach! Well worth what we paid and I would def go back. Everyone was super helpful and we got right in with no problems! All in all it was beautiful, everyone we talked to was friendly!!

I don’t know where to begin. As soon as we entered the property, everything was perfect! From the beautiful decor to all the amenities one could need, she truly did an amazing job for her guests. I will definitely return to this house and bring my family with me. Thank you so much for the wonderful bar setup and for the flowers and cake for my husband. You will surely have more guests coming your way. I will always remember this visit; she even offered me an extra night, which was very kind of her. Annie is a fantastic host!

We love coming back to Pajaro Dunes. Our stay was one of the best experiences we have had to date! Jay's property was very well-kept, clean, and hospitable for our family of seven. We had everything we needed. We had a very minor request, which Jay responded to very quickly and resolved promptly. He went above and beyond, which we truly appreciated. We had great views of the beach and sunset. Access to the beach is a 2-minute walk. We look forward to returning for our family trip next year. Thanks again so much!

I don’t have much experience with Airbnb, but this has been by far the most satisfying stay I’ve had. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for peaceful walks, and you can even watch the sunset right from the house. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby, and there’s plenty of parking available. Inside, everything was spotless and fully equipped — the kitchenware and amenities were complete, and check-in was incredibly smooth. I especially loved Joanne’s interior design; it felt cozy and homey, exactly like the photos. Joanne was very responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I truly had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever visiting the area.

The location is everything. Beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and coastline. Short walk to the beach for nice walks and shell hunting. There were a few place right at the bottom of the hill for grabbing a cup of coffee, lunch or even dinner. There is also a small market to grab what ever you may have missed. The unit itself is set up comfortably. nice couch for watching tv or looking out the windows to the ocean. The bed was comfortable and restrooms were clean and stocked. We would stay here again.

Spacious unit right on the beach. Great view from dining area while enjoying morning coffee. Direct access to beach or boardwalk for walks with the dog. Easy access to all activities in Monterey county. This could become an annual retreat goal.

Had a wonderful time at this Seascape 1 bedroom unit. It has all the comforts of home plus an amazing view of the ocean. It was well stocked with everything you need. Tyler was very responsive when I needed help with the television remote control. Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the area.

We stayed only one day at this listing, so couldn't do justice to the facilities that were at our disposal. The room itself, which is part of a resort, is spacious, well-stocked and looks even better than the photos. The view from the balcony is excellent. There is a pool and hot tub accessible within a couple of minutes from the room. There is a 5-10 minute walk to the nearby private beach, or you could just take a buggy. It was a very windy evening, so I got to take some otherworldly photos as the sun was going down, with no crowds to disturb the view. There are 4 restaurants accessible within walking distance in the complex, of which the Mexican option is the standout. Staff on-site are friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay here and have no hesitation recommending it to others.

What a beautiful villa! the view was amazing. The beach looks much closer in person, and the hosts were great.We loved it and would recommend to everyone.

The location of the condo was superb. The few minute walk to the beach was so convenient and the view was breathtaking. Everything was clean inside and the parking garage was directly around the corner. I would come here again.
